El Valle Family Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Sunnyside

I decided to give this place a try. The employees are very nice and very awesome. But they got my order wrong so by the time my partner was done with his food I was just getting mine. That is very unacceptable. After talking to other people about my experience, they too experience that kind of stuff.

My partners dish, he felt that the steak had a sweet smell to it, which usually means that it’s turning. My dish was a huge disappointment for ones that I’ve experienced at other Mexican restaurants, from 1 to 10 I would say it’s a 2 compared to others .

The employees were super nice but that is not enough for me to go back.

I see you guys are always busy and I’m extremely happy for you guys but first impressions on us was extremely disappointing.

When you make someone’s food, make sure they get what they ask. If you overlook, a customers request then that is very bad customer service and makes a bad impression and unfortunately this bad impression was on our very first visit.

I cannot recommend this restaurant, because our first visit was a huge failure. But I can say that the stories I’ve heard, that I’m not gonna mention here, do not exist. At least we did not...

We've always enjoyed El Valle. The staff are courteous, efficient to a fault and pleasant. It seems like a family owned business and the food is absolutely awesome! Before y'all order, a basket of homemade chips is served with both mild and spicy salsa bowls as an appetizer. Y'all be careful or y'all won't have room for the meal! My lovely wife usually orders the taco salad served in a crisp tortilla bowl and a margarita. I'm quite fond of chorizo con huevos. It's served on a huge, oval plate with some lettuce, rice, refried beans and y'all's choice of warm flour or corn tortillas. Seldom am I able to consume it all! Their coffee is great, the restrooms are spotless and there is a large banquet room with it's own bar. The main bar faces a side parking lot. The main parking lot is well laid out. The menu is quite extensive and written in English for those who don't speak Spanish (very appreciated). There are also chefs specials. I can just about guarantee y'all will find something on the menu to y'all's liking and it's reasonably priced! What more could y'all ask for?! Try 'em out... y'all won't be...

I lived in Sunnyside 20 years, for everyone that gave it a 5 star, they have never had real Mexican food or any authentic food of any sorts. This place is Horrible, disgusting, everything they make is out of a CAN. I don't know whats more disappointing there can beans or rice, there super hot plates (fresh out the oven or microwave) or there fresh tortillas (fresh out the microwave). Everything is store bought. There cheap macho mug are gross with 3 day old squeezed lime in your beer how gross. Please stay away and if anybody says different they must work at el valle. Please try Colima down the road that is real authentic Mexican food! I would rate it 0 stars but wont allow me to do so. Taco trucks have better burrito or Mexican food...
