Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

As we drove into a very busy parking lot, to go to a French Dip place I found online, we saw Popeye's, on the far end. Well, turns out that the French Dip place is no longer there. (Sad face) But; we remembered that last month, wanting to know what all the fuss was about we tried a Popeye's (different location) Chicken Sandwich. It was like (I imagine) crack! We loved it after the first bite, (and we are not fast food people)! So, wanting to see if it was a fluke...we went in. We ordered 3 Classic Chicken Sandwiches, Large Cajun Fries and a Red Beans & Rice. (Being creole, I usually won't order anything "Creole/Cajun", bc they always get it wrong). There was a good size line, but it went by quickly. About 12 minutes later, we got our order. We got home and the fries were barely lukewarm, but the flavor/texture was so good, we almost didn't care. The Red Beans and Rice were overcooked, but had a nice flavor. But once again; the Chicken Sandwiches were FIRE!! The Chicken Breast is huge and bigger than the bun. The coating is crunchy, addicting and the 3 pickles are the exact briny goodness to accentuate the other flavors and just the right number! We are officially FANS!! (Just of the Chicken...

I’m giving this place a one star because they told me they ran out of chicken sandwiches, however that was a lie! I came here late Friday night not expecting them to have any chicken sandwiches available so I ordered some fried chicken because that’s what I was craving that night. However, I did check with the cashier if he had any chicken sandwiches available and was not surprised when he said no. While I was waiting for my order, the customer behind me tried ordering a chicken sandwich too and was also told they ran out. He then made a phone call to his wife to ask what else she wanted since the sandwiches are sold out. Out of nowhere this customer got served a chicken sandwich! The worker that gave him a sandwich said he recognized him for somewhere. This customer didn’t even know the worker. Again, the customer got served a free chicken sandwich and he then asked the worker, “hey, can you throw a couple of sides in there too?” This all happened while I stood there waiting for my...

I asked for sauce today for my order and the female in drive thru serving order 60034 told me that we don't get sauces with our chicken and she gave me 2 sauces anyways..Great! I asked her if there was sauce for my order of popcorn shrimp and she wanted to take back the ranch that she had gave me and said that it usually doesn't come with any sauces. My receipt says cocktail sauce which I didnt have. I said I can pay for it and she said OK. I proceeded to give her my card she said no that's OK but just so you know next time you will have to pay for it. I didn't know that it was such a big issue to hand out sauce even though I was willing to pay for it. She seemed annoyed. Very unprofessional, food was hot and service was fast but if the customer service isnt there then all that doesnt matter.
