Starbucks — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

I don't even want to rate this review even a one-star but there wasn't an option for a zero star rating which I will treat it as zero anyway. I've only been to this location about 4 times with the first visit being almost 2 weeks ago. .The staff at this location comes off as being rather nonchalant towards me and as I observe how they treat other customers, I notice how they make a point to "welcome them in" and Express more interest to serve them as opposed to serving me. I returned to this location a few days after my first visit with hopes for a better experience but still the same. There is one girl who works there who came off as being "friendly" Because it's her job to do so..heavyset with blue hair but she at least put in some kind of effort in being "friendly". I believe it was that same day when I asked for a cup of water with mypurchase. The short Asian guy was the one who assisted me. I noticed that he was running his hands through his hair and scratching his head so I was hoping the another employee would assist but instead he attempted to grab the cup to add ice and water but I mentioned that he needed to wash his hands and the skinny Asian girl who was working beside him sarcastically told him he needs to wash his hands. I didn't appreciatethe.sarcasm or the nasty attitude from the short Asian guy. They all seemed to have a problem with me suggesting that he wash his nasty hands before serving me. It's unprofessional and downright nasty to think that it's ok to serve customers with unwashed hands. When I went in today, he was working again boy was he holding a grudge towards me. This young man needs to be reprimanded and I don't take lightly toanyone throwing banana bread at me. That was totally unacceptable. I wasted my time talking to Rin about the incident because she isn't a manager and even if she was I doubt she would have taken the necessary steps to address the issue as she gave me the dirtiest look when I walked in today. I have experienced some sort of attitude from most of these employees who work at this location. Based on my observation, I conclude that racism could very well play a factor towards my experience at this location. None of them know me from the next person so why else would they be rude? ThIS IS NOT OK! If management does nothing to address this issue, I will seek...

I normally I get coffee here and can understand everyone gets busy from time to time,but I was disappointed as a customer to have been lied to! I tried doing a mobile order ahead of time,so that I can pick up my coffee and start my shift ”for work,” keep this in mind I work literally across the street” anyhow, I called this location questioning why they turned off their mobile orders and the reason they gave me was because the outside is in a rush, and there is a lot of people. So I decided to pick up the coffee myself and order it at the store since I have no choice but when I got there, I was shocked to see that there was only two people in line and more than enough staff. It really frustrated me because when I called I was pulling in to the plaza and I don’t think it’s possible for that rush just to go away in 45 to 50 seconds. I also understand that there’s always a demand for a tip when ordering in the store But to me it seems like they’re trying to make their tips. I am about loyalty and making sure that we take care of our people and today I wasn’t taken...

Sigh. Made direct eye contact with the Asian GIRL barista this morning and she had to comment to her white -hipster bearded-beanie-wearing co-workers. Then said hipsters were getting all hot and bothered because i dared to be direct with another employee. He and she tried to deduce if I had romantic intentions. Many people assume that ALL ASIAN WOMEN don't like asian men, or if they do its because they lack choices. For this girl, she is just another Asian American girl who thinks because she has been "with" a lot of non-asians she has transcended her "asian-ness," and therefore superior to other Asians(especially men). See I don't know that as a fact, I'm ASSUMING, as people do.

Writing this because they were talking a lot of trash about me when I was sitting there doing work. They are young punk-asses no doubt, but this type of employee behavior is bordering on...
