Very good Vada Pav. The Vada was both hot on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside, just how we like it. Didn’t have the green chutney on the inside and I’m not sure what the authentic way is but it came with garlic powder and 2 fried chilies on the side. Very tasty overall. My only complaint is that it seemed like Thai chilles were used for the fried chillies, and I’m not sure if that’s a good choice as they pack major heat and may hamper the savoring quite a bit. Regular chilies would have made it perfect, with palatable heat levels. The mango lassi deserves a special mention as it was sooooo good, rich in cardamom flavor too. Made us wonder if it was just diluted Mango Shrikhand :) Person at the cash register is nice and patient. Will be back soon.

Read couple of bad reviewson Yelp. I'm sure those are by the people who doesn't know what maharashtrian food is like. I'm pure Marathi girl from Maharashtra and I can definitely vouch for taste that you get here. We had MisalPav and Vada pav. Corn patties got over before we could take. This food truck has humble owners. If you are not aware how to eat what you get here then do not hesitate to ask ownwr. They will definitely be very happy to give you information about the food and how to eat it. For Misal Pav- ask for cut/ratri/rasaa if your taste buds craving for more spice. Please eat the food at the food truck as hot piping Misal pav always tatses better than TO Go.

Service & Staff Friendliness: 5/5 Pricing: 5/5 Food 50/5 (Not a typo) It was only at the time of payment that I realized I am in California and not in any city of India. Every food item tastes so nostalgic and close to home. The Vada-Pav is here is worth every dollar. It’s fried and served on the spot unlike most other trucks. Special mention to the Pav that DOES NOT taste like a bun at all. Chai too is total amaze. Balanced blend of all the necessary ingredients. It’s the proper Mumbai Cutting Chai. But the king of the menu is Missal Pav. You just cannot miss it. I can confidently say it’s the finest Missal in the whole of US!

We ordered “Butter” Vada Pav and Dabeli and ended up throwing both off in the garbage. When first served, there was no butter on the Butter Vada Pav, and we reminded them of our order to which they reluctantly obliged. However, it was still very dry-looking and bland. Upon asking for some sort of chutney to go along (a very trivial ask at an Indian fast food joint), the guys there refused very rudely and started arguing with us asking questions and saying things like “where are you from, because this is how Vada pav is supposed to be eaten”, so much so as to asking us to return it if we didn’t want to have it as it is…some customer service. Our mood and evening got spoiled and we decided to black list this truck. The others around this one are quite amazing though. Hope this helps people so, being paying customers, they don’t have to put up with unnecessary attitude from...

Mighty has fallen....

We used to be huge fan of this place especially their Misal Pav. Used to visit once a week and also recommended this place to lots of people as well as brought visitors to this place. However since the pandemic started, misal is nothing more than water and spices that just taste disgusting (tried 4-5times before jumping to conclusion). Also vadapav serving is inconsistent, half of the time either onion is missing or the orange chutney. Vadapav taste is still great and hopefully they don’t ruin it.

Also, staff doesn’t follow covid safety protocols. Mask wore off while making the food.

I love this place and really want them to do well. Hopefully they can be more consistent...
