This review is for mutton dum biryani that is available only Fri through Sunday. Been in the bay for over 15 years and tasted every popular place in south bay and east bay, I would say this is the truly authentic dum biryani I ever had. They use fresh goat meat, hence succulent with perfect amount of spices. As you open the box you get a smell of cloves and cardamom. The salan and raita is on the thinner side which is how it should be. You have option to order double masala which makes it on the spicier side. From now onwards this would be my go to place for dum Biryani. One improvement they can do is use bigger box. As you take it in the plate it creates a mess.

I used to like this place for the taste, but in my last 5 orders, 3 arrived with stale, foul-smelling, dried-out chicken. This isn’t just bad food, it’s a health hazard. The chicken dum biryani and lollipop only taste good when they’re fresh, but the owners clearly don’t care about food safety or customer well-being. Selling rotten, freezer-burned chicken shows a complete disregard for public health. Avoid this restaurant unless you’re willing to risk your health on their negligence.

Drove 20 mins to get the biriyani looking at the reviews, I ordered paneer biriyani and waited about 10-15 mins after going there, took the “Paneer Biriyani” and drove back home and saw there is an egg in the “Paneer biriyani”. if you can’t handle a simple order properly you should not be in business. Also, I cannot drive back another 20 mins hungry to replace my biriyani. Never visiting again!

During a recent visit to Ustaad's Biryani, I had the pleasure of sampling a dish that masterfully brought together a variety of rich and distinctive flavors. The combination featured the bold, savory depth of keema, the delicate softness of paneer, and the indulgent richness of ghee roast — all harmoniously balanced in a single serving. Each component was thoughtfully prepared, allowing the ingredients to shine both individually and collectively. The keema provided a robust foundation, while the paneer added a gentle contrast in texture. The ghee roast elevated the dish with its aromatic and flavorful finish, making for a memorable and satisfying culinary experience. Ustaad's Biryani has delivered a truly standout offering that showcases both creativity and tradition. I highly recommend this dish to anyone seeking a hearty, flavorful meal with a...

I recently visited Ustaad’s Biryani after seeing a $5 deal for Chicken Fry Biryani advertised on their Instagram page, and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. When I received my order, the biryani had absolutely no flavor at all, which is surprising for a dish that should be bursting with spices and taste. It was clear that the biryani had been made earlier in the day(or before) and served cold. There’s nothing worse than expecting a warm, flavorful dish and getting something that feels like it was just taken out of the fridge. While I appreciate the affordability of the $5 deal, I would have preferred to pay a little more for a freshly made and flavorful meal. Sadly, this experience has left me with no desire to return to Ustaad’s Biryani...
