The Hibiscus — Restaurant in Sunrise

I gave this place 3 stars because they have down size their portions of peking duck. They cut the meat so thin it’s a shame!! The portion has become smaller! The price is inflated but the duck got downsize !! The same goes for the sweet and sour chicken !

Been ordering from them for years . From their previous location in Sunrise blvd. To this currant location. Not in hurry to place any orders . Will take my $$ elsewhere .

I ordered chicken in de ruff fried rice and fried bangamary for take out.

The chicken had a nice flavor, but definitely not as good as before. The rice was a little dry. And the fish lacked any flavor whatsoever. Still it was all enjoyable since we don't get this food where we live.

The lady who took the order was very nice and personable. The guy who took payment and gave me the food did not interact with me at all.

The restaurant is more like a bar with loud music and several TVs. If I do return, it will be for takeout again.

Gripe - unreasonable surcharge for credit cards. This is unacceptable especially with payments processors charging way less than that. Plus the global trend is going cashless. Small businesses can do better than adding this unreasonable charge which just serves to minimize...

Small restaurant in plaza. Placed an order over the phone when I arrive at the establishment my order was not entered in the system. The manager on site along with bartender where you go to pick up the order doesn't think it is a big deal. Doesn't even offer an apology but instead insists that the order was never placed. Whereas I spoke with someone who took my order and my name and told me my order would be ready in 15 to 20 mins. They only thought it best to make excuses instead of a resolution. Don't even know why I ordered there. They are not even practicing CDC recommended protocols at that location. 🙄. Honestly they would get -5...
