Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Sunrise

Extremely disappointed. I ordered 2 pizzas, I received one after about 30 mins. I didn’t receive the second pizza until almost an hour and a half after I arrived. Their excuse was that their “oven had stopped working.” While that is understandable (if they were even telling the truth), there was no reason for it to have taken that long to make another pizza. Furthermore, I received the pizza with the wrong topping around 5 minutes after closing time. When I asked the worker about this, she simple stared at me and did not say a single word, not even an apology. While it was understandable that there was an oven malfunction, what I don’t understand how a person can mess up toppings of a pizza, even after I repeatedly told them my what I wanted. Extremely disappointed in the staff, particularly the kitchen people, as they proved to be no help at all. I also noticed that there was a birthday party going on, and they also hadn’t received their pizzas by the time I left even though it was 5 minutes past closing time. I can’t imagine how horrible they must have felt for having their birthday party ruined. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re planning on ordering food because the kitchen staff has extremely disappointed me. I also forgot to mention, there was also only one person at the register throughout the 2 1/2 hours that I was there (she also kept disappearing), and standing in line to get my card and order the pizza also took a very long bc despite the fact that there were only a couple people in front of me. Very small for a Chuck E Cheese. We've been here 2 times because it's where my granddaughter wants to go 🙄 never have we seen Chucky..? Usually at other locations he will come out and interact with the kids. The food is an absolute disgrace. I get it, they figure its kids and kids taste buds are limited but for heavens sake if there are children around dont you think they're coming with parents?? Ok so your not here for the food, it's the entertainment activity stuff, yeah? This place will occupy a 4 year old for a good hour and a half, that's it. Even the little ones know when they've played on something multiple times. Please do NOT attempt to buy ice cream in the vending machine, it is frost bitten and appears to have seen much better days. It actually scared me. Needless to say we tossed it and hauled a$$ over to a convenience store to get something from this decade. Extremely unfriendly uncaring staff, no welcome coming in... stood at the counter and stared at us for a few minutes before coming to let us in while being the only people in the store, half of the games were off which is understandable because of covid at the moment but the store is so small and the prices are still so high, compared to my local Chuck e Cheese. The prize counter prices were skyrocketed also... for the same items. The prices aren’t the problem though therefore it is not negotiable or the stores fault, my issue is only with the staff. At the counter they took my card and stared at me with no conversation no greeting, or even the bare minimum: say how many tickets were on my card.. I had to ask. I’m a Chuck E Cheese employee at a different location and if I ever acted that way there’d be a problem, but the manager here acted the same way as well.
