I ordered Chef Rose for my first time on Uber Eats.
Expecting just another typical Uber eats delivery (cold, soggy and tasteless food) I was wrong.
The food was delicious, hot, packaged incredibly well, everything was labeled and they left a really nice note inside the bag.
I felt a google review just wasnāt enough so I decided to call Chef Rose just to let them know how impressed I was with not just the food but the way everything was packaged and how much I appreciated the note left for me.
My girlfriend and I order delivery almost daily unless we go out and I can tell you not once have we ever experienced this, not once.
When I called I asked to speak to the owner or manger of Chef Rose. I was given the honor of speaking to chef Rose himself.
After a five minute conversation praising his food and and everything else I realized that Chef Rose and his staff care about nothing more than the quality of their food and their customers.
It was a large order. We couldnāt decide what to get so we ordered a few different meals and sides.
Come to find out we ordered just before closing and when I did find this out I felt really bad because It was such a large order.
That didnāt stop Chef Rose from preparing an incredible meal just before closing. That was something else I was very impressed with.
Overall, everything was perfect and I believe this is the best Jamaican restaurant around.
FYI, best grits ever with some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas referred to this restaurant and Iām happy I was. I called during the afternoon to inquire about the hours and location. Spoke to a gentleman and he was very pleasant and helpful providing the information i needed. I got there around 9:20 to place my order and was greeted with a lady who wasnāt the most helpful. Being my first time there, i asked questions regarding items, in which she pointed me to the menu. I asked if the bbq jerk was spicy in which she told me, sheās never tried because she doesnāt eat spicy food. That wasnāt my question LOL. We asked about another item, and again the answer was almost like we were aggravating her. We proceeded to place an order for Jerk Chicken with festival, and BBQ Jerk with fried dumplin and rice & peas. She advised it will take 30 minutes, which it took a little over 45. The festival and fried dumplin were both fresh and tasty. The rice & peas were ok, not bad, or great. The BBQ Jerk was amazing. Itās literally seasoned to the bone underneath the skin, exactly the way I would like it. Couldāve been a little more spicy but I was afraid to ask the cashier when ordering LOL. All in all I will definitely come back again. Food is fresh so my only suggestion to customers would be ordering in advance before arrival. My suggestion to management is to train your staff to know customer service is still important...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI found this place when I Googled Vegan restaurants near me. I didn't even look at the menu. I browsed through the reviews. So many compliments . I figured I'd give it a shot. Now I see why. This is a wonderful establishment. Everyone is kind and greeted me with a smile. When asking what was the recommendation they gave the breakdown of what was on the menu. I ordered 2 entrees and I couldn't have been more pleased. It takes some time because they do cook to order. I love fresh food so no complaints there. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I just found my new favorite restaurant. As a new vegetarian slowly converting to vegan, it's difficult to find tasty healthy food. I've frequented another place in the same plaza getting food minus the meat because it was convenient. I will cross that one off my list. The tofu and vegetables exceeded my expectations. The Ital stew is the š I was trying to save some but it was sooooo good, I ate it all. I would love to try more dishes there but that will definitely be my go-to meal. I cleared the fridge buying all the sorrell ginger too. It's my fave. I'm not even Jamaica but I embrace the culture. Phenomenal food and service. You have to try it! Hey...
