I'm trying to tell you don't go here if you are looking for a friendly place. The lady that served us was terrible and yelled at you when you didn't speak the level of her liking "You're going to have to speak up. I can't hear you!!!" Then when you need something she's never around to get it. You might as well get off your butt and get it yourself. I wanted to go get it myself half the time because her disrespectful attitude and stomping away as she snaps her head back makes you wanna go outside to eat. I wish I had, had that option. Not sure what her name is but I got a better idea, here's her picture! And as for the food, I think it would make a difference if they were fully cooked....... I wish now I would have ordered them over medium and just forgot about homestyle potatoes. The potatoes was so RAW my husband had to cut them open with the butter knife & they should have been done as long as they took to get them out to me, hmmmm let's just say I got my homestyle potatoes 20 after my toast, bacon and Raw eggs! I hope I don't get sick from being there and attempting to eat that food. Seriously! For heavy goers and 1st time wanna tryers, I AM WARNING YOU RIGHT NOW- " ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK" I'm done now. Thanks Google for the wonderful option to tell the world how folks treat you when you are trying to support their small business establishment!

***Edit*** visited 8/18/23 at 10am and I am happy to say that I had a 180° difference in service and quality of food! I ordered 1 egg scrambled, bacon and grits with sweet tea, my "only" complaint is the grits we very good and I would have liked a little more. I don't know what changed from May but it was the right move! I love supporting my local businesses, I do a lot of supporting! However I was just at Sarah's Kitchen around 8:30 this morning 5/12/23 and when I first walk in there is a woman with glasses that is taking care of the inside tables. This woman does not acknowledge me in any way, no hi how are you, no nothing! So I decided I'll just place a to go order and leave, this same woman takes my order 1 sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and a sweet tea, total $10.16! I'm thinking that's got to be a huge biscuit for this amount cause my tea was probably only 12 oz. from all the ice. I get home and my biscuit doesn't look as if it's cooked completely and there is NO SAUSAGE! This working guy can't justify going back here again, this is ridiculous. Oh and biscuit just falls apart, I give zero stars to whoever made it. My mother and grandmother would roll over in their graves if I served them this.

Don't be in a hurry. They have signs posted everywhere that says they are short staffed. There were 2 waitresses one appeared to be the owner working when we went. Be warned. They stop serving breakfast at 10:30AM sharp. Zero exceptions. We were one of the last to order for breakfast at 10:25AM The food was pretty good so nothing to complain about there. It even came out in s reasonable amount of time. Expect a 4% surcharge if you don't pay cash. We've noticed fairly often in most retail/service establishments that at the end of the season the employees are worn out, short tempered and on the whole... Just over the tourist season!!!! Sarah's is no exception. We felt rushed and unappreciated. The unfortunate part for those visiting, it's our last chance for a summer vacation and hoping to enjoy and relax, which is in direct conflict with most of the employees who work at the beach. All in all. We won't be back to Sarah's kitchen as there are other places to spend our money without feeling like a burden.

I have been going to Sarah’s for over 3 years now. For the first 2 1/2 years it was perfect until a few months ago when the NEW OWNER KLINTON took over it’s been nothing short of a disaster and power hungry cooks, that think as soon as Klintons not around they can come out of the kitchen and be “the boss”.. I’m not sure what kitchen they’ve worked in or what kind of kitchen klinton is running but the ones I’ve worked at when I was younger and the ones I’ve been to would NEVER allow their COOKS to come out of the kitchen to boss the customers around and give eye rolls and just being completely evil..but I can tell you I’ve met klinton MULTIPLE times and he was the nicest person I’ve met but i don’t think he knows exactly what’s going on when he leaves the restaurant. It’s ashamed he’s letting this cook ruin his business for me and so many others. But not only that, I’ve fount roaches and hair in my food these last two months I have been going. And to make matters worse the other day there was a fight up there and a poor elderly lady got knocked down. It was so sad she was so confused on why she was knocked down and why a restaurant owner with multiple other business would allow people to act so violently and mean towards the customers. I can honestly say I will never be coming back. & it’s my advice for anyone thinking about going to NOT unless you like wild brawls and roaches for food. I apologize for any future mess up from this restaurant because lord knows with those employees they will be lucky if the health dept. isn’t...
