Who's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Superior

Walking in here was like returning to the 70's with a few modern amenities. So cool. Enjoyed the vintage vibes. Tom held down the whole place by himself. This is a laid back atmosphere so don't expect super fast treatment. This is the laid back, one order at a time deal. The place only holds about 50 people. So it's small and private. The fries and onion rings are air fried to save calories, which I appreciate much. Else is on a flat griddle. I got a can of coke and had the grilled ham "off the bone" & cheese sandwich ($6.50) and added onion rings for $2.25. My wife ordered California burger ($7.75) which comes with potato chips. We got a couple of candy bars to go for $1.50 ea. 20+% Tip, tax and everything = $30....

I came in with a couple friends, very hungry, and ordered some food. I got the bacon cheeseburger with chips, and they both got the mushroom and Swiss with fries. Our burgers were all well done, almost burnt, and my friend was given bacon with her burger, which she did not order, and was VERY unhappy with. The server/cook/bartender wandered over, and when we addressed the issue, she casually picked up the burgers with her bare hands, and took the one burger back. When she returned with the "fixed" burger, there was still a chunk of bacon on it. Overall, a fairly unpleasant experience. I will be going to McDonald's before I come...

Favorite bar on the strip and the burgers crush that Anchor place people talk so much about. It's the place to go if you want a good bloody or a mug of beer so frosted and icey it can't stand up straight. Been making it a stop for years now when we visiting freinds in the area and have never not walked in and had the "Cheers TV show feeling" and struck up a conversation with the bartender had a few laughs, ate a great lunch, and walked out appreciating the Tower Ave of Superiour, WI bar scene that is as old and honored as the city itself...
