JM's Pub — Restaurant in Surf City

Would never go back... first off, I would definitly not consider this a restaurant, really more a bar, but that's not why it gets a bad review. So we get there at about 7:45 and order food. I order new England clam chowder and steamed clams. About 45 minutes go by and the bartender/ waitress says "I have good news and bad news, we're out of clam chowder, but at least you don't have to pay for it" now the kitchen is closed at this point (it closes at 8 apparently) so I can't order anything else now. So another half hour goes by and I finally get my steamed clams. Half of them were way undercooked and the other half were dried out and overcooked. My husband ordered their steamer pot and it was the same way. I don't think I've ever had shrimp so dry and overcooked. The potato it came with was practical raw still. I'll be thrilled if I don't wake up with food poisoning or something. Still cost 70 bucks for a few beers and some of the worst seafood...

My friends and I decided to go here after leaving another bar. Some of us decided to stop drinking, one of us being the dd. This shorter brunette bartender rudely greeted us then came up and said who is drinking she then took three peoples ids and walked away she comes back out and tells them they can’t drink then says “you walked in and half your group sat down” this is ridiculous just because people don’t want to drink doesn’t mean you don’t serve others in the group and assume they are underage. People should know that this facility is way under price but jukebox is amazing totally family oriented I don't know I would definitely direct that question to someone else if it was locals only with it want to have lots of money it's an amazing stuff yeah but that way high stop sound Church road in Hollywood Connecticut is already one of my favorites and not Hollywood Connecticut but we'll go with that :-) are broken he's all mangled in the hospital things so I'm here at one of my best friends praying for...
