Topsail Island Popcorn — Local services in Surf City

We’re from out of the area and wanted to try something from each local business that we came across, which lead us here. Upon walking in we were warmly welcomed. The shop smelled amazing and was surgically clean. Everything is nicely organized by either sweet or savory. There were so many options, we were there for sweet but will be going back for savory next. We’d purchased Carmel and Carmel with chocolate drizzle. (Why share?) The bag seemed a little pricy (about $8) UNTIL we tried some. It was amazing, clearly fresh; each piece was well coated and tasted like it was made with quality ingredients. We weren’t expecting it to be so addictingly fantastic. Given how these bags tasted I can’t wait to try their savory flavors. Due to the richness of the ingredients there was no way we could finish an entire bag immediately, which is ok but I wish they also offered larger bags so we can take some home as well. Well...

Just popped in to get some Saturday night movie popcorn, and I am definitely going back! The store owner is super friendly, the popcorn choices are vast and it is just such a great vibe all around. Oh! And they have cocktail mixers as well! Got home and ripped right into the Caramel with Peanuts and OMG it is the Best I have ever had! The caramel is perfectly buttery sweet and the peanuts are the right amount of crunch/salty for the perfect pairing. I am honestly tempted to hide the bag in my office, but I cannot. This is always a must-stop place on the first day of vacation. My family loves to pick up several different bags of popcorn and sit around the table to taste them in the evening while playing card games or whatever. I always have to bring some home as well. My favorite sweet popcorn are the Lemon Poundcake and Birthday Cake. On the savory side, I love the Cajun and Garlic Parmesan. I met the owners on a previous trip and they are the sweetest! They were super informative. They also have a different savory and sweet sample each day. I cannot brag on this place enough...and I'm not even a regular...
