This is not hyperbole when I say that this was the most disappointing Mexican I have ever had. The enchiladas had zero flavor whatsoever. It was like they just took some tortillas that they had bought in bulk 9 months ago, opened up a can of $0.10 enchilada sauce, dumped it on and called it good. It wasn't just mine as my wife thought the same of hers. Not really original to both get basic enchiladas, but we were starving and other restaurant choices were closed.

That's the only reason it got two stars was because it was actually open on a Monday night. Not that you'd know though, as we had to look up the menu from pictures that people posted on Google. We tried calling to place a pickup order and no one answered the phone. It just went to voicemail. For a restaurant. I drove to the restaurant to see what the deal was and found out that they just have a house phone that sits over by the order kiosk instead of, oh I don't know, at the hostess stand like any sane restaurant. Unless you happen to call when a server is putting in an order, no one will answer the phone. The music was nice, but it was so loud that no one was going to hear the phone.

I will say that the restaurant was decently decorated and the staff was pleasant, but given the hassle to order and blah food quality (the other two dishes we ordered weren't any better, and somehow they managed to even screw up tortilla chips) I would say don't waste your time unless it's the only thing that's available or you consider Taco Bell to be fine...

This is a first visit review after one visit. Decent Mexican food can be tough to find in this area but Margaritas is very promising and had some tasty food! It's in the strip mall where Surf Dog Bites is so pretty good parking but it can get busy on the weekends and during holidays and summer. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and clean. They have TVs on the wall in part of the restaurant but it's not a sports bar feel. The service was quick and friendly.

The waiter recommended the birria Jalisco and we also had the chimichangas. Kids got pizza and fries. We also started with a guacamole dip. All the food was well prepared and tasted great! The birria was like Mexican pot roast... very tender and served with warm tortillas, cilantro and chopped onion with lime. There was quite a bit of fat included with the meat but the meat was very tender. Most plates come with beans and rice. The chimichanga plate came with a chicken and beef chimichanga. Both had good filling! Kids meals were well prepared!

The reason for 4 out of five stars is because the chips were cold and could have been fresher, and the salsa had too much salt and pepper. Those spices were dominant flavors and I prefer a fresher salsa where the fresh tomato and herbs shine, not salt and pepper. It would have been great had they had less seasoning. It tasted fresh, but salty. The chips had little salt and were pretty cold and tasteless, which may be why the salsa was...

Me and my fiance eat here about once a week and they always have great food. They have the best fresh guacamole and salsa (not super spicy) around and I definitely recommend trying one of their mixed drinks (I had the Trash Can during my last visit). Food usually comes out fast, it's always been hot and always exactly how I ordered it. This place is great for tourists and locals as well, parking is usually scarce since they share with all the other stores in the same area. Also a great place for birthday parties. My favorite Mexican restaurant on or off the island, Camino Real is a close 2nd. As long as this place is open, I'll keep coming back. All of the servers seem to enjoy working there and treat it as more than a job. I've been to places where they just want a paycheck, this isn't one of them. Some of my favorite items (not including the Salsa and Chips or Guacamole) would have to be their ACP and Chimichangas. They also have a la carte tacos that are very delicious, no matter what you choose I'm sure you will enjoy this place. If you took the time to read all this, definitely go try this place,...

Our first visit to Margarita's exceeded expectations! First of all we were impressed by how quickly we were seated! Our server Jeremy was so friendly and welcoming and answered all of our questions We were intrigued when we saw a stack of little margaritas on the table of another customer. She explained it was the Margarita Sampler: 4 mini Margs of different flavors! YES, please!! We ordered 2 of them and they were fresh and delicious! We also ordered the Handmade Guacamole and it was amazing! My husband and I each ordered an entree, plus I ordered something to take back home to my son. The next delightful surprise was when the bill came and we saw that the cost of our night out was very reasonable. Much appreciation to Bernardo and Team! We will definitely be back!

We were lucky enough to be Margaritas Mexican Grill & Cantina’s first customers! Check out our dollar bill on the wall just above the 100% sanitation rating! Walking in, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff and you’ll find a nicely decorated, clean, and well organized layout. There are plenty of tables and a large bar area. I had street tacos and my better half had birria jalisco. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were plentiful. Free chips and salsa, just the way it should be. We are so happy to have a good Mexican food restaurant in such a convenient location on island. Liz and staff, buena suerte!
