Pho Viet Restaurant — Restaurant in Surf City

Do not sleep on this place! We stopped in for a late lunch and were so glad we did. First thing we noticed was that they have a large menu with so many of our favorites. We wanted to try everything, but stared off with the Tempura Shrimp, Pork Egg Roll Appetizer and their fresh, house-made Lemonade. This Lemonade was by face the best I’ve ever had!!!

The Tempura Shrimp was fried to perfection and the shrimp were nice and sweet. The shrimp sauce made for a perfect pairing. The Pork Egg Rolls were also fried perfectly crisp and light. They had just the right amount of sweetness to them.

For our meals, we ordered the #26 Grilled Lemongrass Pork w/ Veggie, egg roll and vermicelli. This dish was superb. The lemongrass pork was so tender that it almost melted in our mouths. We also ordered the T6 Pad Thai Noodle Shrimp. This was also very good. The shrimp again had a little sweetness to them and the noodles and sauce were so light and delicious.

I can’t say enough about our visit to Pho Viet. They ticked all the boxes, great food, great service and very reasonable pricing. Make sure you add this place to your regular...

My daughters had number 12s rare beef pho and my wife and I had number 26s grilled lemon grass pork, bean sprouts and carrots, egg roll, vermicelli and fish sauce. Split crab ragoons for appetizer.
