Beach Bum Beach Houses — Local services in Myrtle Beach

We stayed at property 1309 for a week at OceanLakes and had a nice time! The house is definitely on the smaller side, but is perfect for a single family if you have two adults and up to four children.

The smaller bedroom with 4 twin bunks doesn’t have a door and is more like a walk-in closet that was repurposed for sleeping arrangements, but would be perfect for a family with little ones! The primary bedroom had a queen sized bed and lots of closet space, which could easily accommodate a family during their stay.

We were happy to have the two bathrooms in the house, too. Each bathroom had their own showers, toilets, and sinks, which made getting ready or showering more efficient. There was even a stacked washer & dryer on site that we got tons of use out of!

The walls of the house are a bit thin so you can hear noises from outside pretty clearly, but the street itself is pretty calm compared to other areas of the property, which we preferred. The golf cart got tons of use and was awesome to get around since we were a little removed from the main attractions/amenities (i.e. - the sandy mart, pool/water park, etc.) and we had quick access to one of the beach entry points.

10/10 recommend! No doubt about it! Kendra is the best host, attentive, caring and super professional! On top of an amazing host, the house is perfect! So COZY and the BEST location! It felt like I was at home away from my actual home and that really meant a lot to me. We more than enjoyed it, we had nothing but great things to say and absolutely didn’t want to leave! Kendra had the house stocked for everything she promised and more and made sure we had everything we needed the whole stay! All of the surrounding neighbors were super nice and welcoming also which was a great perk. There are so many activities to do and kid/pet friendly through the whole campground as well. Myself and my family has been coming here for 20+ years and we have finally found our perfect oasis in ocean lakes! We will definitely be booking...

I had the Pleasure of Renting out House #1802 for 6 Nights to Celebrate my 60th Birthday from Kendra. House is Beautiful Maintained & Very Cozy. I was Thrilled that she Allowed My 2 Year Old Great Pyrenees Nugget to stay with me as I was Traveling Alone to Meet up with My Daughter. Most Rentals won’t let you have your dog with you or Insist on them being put into the Local Kennel. Did have an Issue with the Golf Cart that comes with this house & Kendra Went Above & Beyond the Call of Duty to Fix the Issue. Got set up with Her Personal Golf Cart till the other 1 got fixed. Can’t say enough Good things about Renting from Kendra & Beach Bum Homes. Will Definitely be Renting From Her...
