Sundown was a letdown. Corner, dated bar offering the usual bar fare and libations. Single bartender was overwhelmed with just the regulars bellied up to the bar, barely had time to venture to those of us seated out on the floor. Noting that, we ordered the sundown super nacho supreme and a drink. Nothing super or supreme about the tortilla chips lightly covered in canned chili, iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes and jarred Cheez Wiz. A dollop of sour cream on the side. Mediocre at best. Sherry did her best and was friendly. No return to refill drinks and/or see how things were. Barely got our debit card back as she had to correct our bill. Watched as she took our card to the till and then began to catchup on those still standing and waiting at the bar for their drinks. We sat and watched the regulars go thru their daily routine of hanging out.

My boyfriend and I went to Sundown for the first time the other night and had the best time!! Band was really good. Atmosphere was awesome. Crowd was I'd say, that night a little older. As we are 60, it was perfect. And when I mention older I mean maybe late 30's 40's and older. Appears to be more of a local spot. Which we couldn't believe we'd never been, being we're locals. Cinnamon was our bartender who took excellent care of us. Very attentive and friendly. We also had a couple of appetizers, okra being one and it sure was good! Needless to say..We've found our new spot!!

Great local bar! We’ve been coming here for years & have been treated like family since the very 1st time! We come mostly for breakfast but occasionally stay all day playing shuffleboard. We bring our family & friends & they love it as well. Love all the wonderful ladies that work there. They’ve all been working there forever which is always a good thing to see at a business. I can’t say enough how happy it makes me to see how sweet they all are to my mom and my niece when I bring them in. When I can, I have breakfast there every day & when I can’t, I definitely miss it! ❤️

Came in Sunday at 8:57pm ordered mozz sticks and heard “ fux is there no where else to go?” 10 minutes later was servers 6 cold almost frozen “sus sticks” cost me almost 9$ , then the same fat dike cook that was complaining came out eating pizza refilling his or her cup several times served two kids in the corner what I imagine would cost the bar/rest atleast 30$ nightly, then as I felt insulted and cashed out tipping 30% and leaving by 9:45 I said thank you the two bartenders bar back and off duty bartender, proceeded to leave when the same rude employee yelled out “ get the fux out” ….!!!! Wow!!!! Wonder how many other potential guest/regulars have been turned off and chosen to go elsewhere leave early and not return because of that one lazy rude employee, that no doubt cost the owner atleast three times or more of what “it” is worth. Really should never see or hear any both employee, ever!!!! Especially one like that…, so yeah…. Never go to sundown on sundays after 7 and...

The sports bar has about twenty TV's so I figured I could watch multiple college football games and maybe even catch a mlb playoff game.... I was wrong they have thirteen TV's on the West Virginia game because it's a "West Virginia Bar" which I would grudgingly say ok to but there are five TV's on the same game, on the same wall (one tv could be seen well by anyone that could see any of the five). They refused to change the TV's stating again that it was a "West Virginia Bar"....I did not press the issue at all but WOW!! A sports bar??? They probably shouldn't advertise that they are a sports bar. The service is laughable at times. The early afternoon shift on Saturday 10/12/19 worked hard and were very efficient the shift that came on between 3:30 and 4:00 borderline mentally ill... (Not mean but not personable and not very bright)... Place is hit and miss, food, service, and whether or not it's a sports bar...you may like it but don't count on consistency on any...
