We were regulars of this place coming couple times a week for years… We come in with our granddaughter on a regular basis…we always order two pizzas.. today I said to make sure it was lightly baked because it was for my granddaughter and of course, ours regular I said, make sure they have extra cheese on there the individual at the desk Brandon delivered our pizzas and apparently made them my granddaughter‘s pizza was lightly baked done how we liked it. Ours did not have extra cheese and was burnt, and there was no cheese to the end of the crust. It was only right in the middle.
I said in a nice way could you please remake that he brings it back and says apparently we’re not remaking it for you and I looked at him like are you kidding me? We’re here all the time we asked for extra cheese not only was there not extra cheese, but it was overcooked as well. We got such an attitude from Brandon. I said get the owner on the phone he knows who we are…we are here all the time we sat there for another 20 minutes and my husband went up to the desk because they didn’t communicate what they were gonna do. He said just give us a credit and we’re outta here and She said they’re already remaking it. Well, it would’ve been nice if they would’ve communicated that to us to be perfectly honest we were afraid to eat it.
As a general manager in the restaurant business, I’ve always preached to my staff that the customer is always right whether you believe that or not if the customer is not happy, you do what it takes to make them happy but this brandon sat there and argued with us
We know how we like our pizza we drive almost 40 minutes to Dino’s, which we won’t do anymore there’s plenty of pizza Places out here, but being that we’re from the Midwest, we like to give Dino’s the business, but no more not after the way Brandon treated us
Although their pizza is good, the main reason we came was because it’s a midwest restaurant and we like giving a business to someone like that versus corporate but no more.
Obviously the owner and manager can’t be there all the time but at least you need to be aware how your employees are treating their guests when you’re not there. I am so disappointed and I’m so upset the way this whole thing was handled and when we left, he said, have a blessed day really? Would’ve been nice if he could’ve treated us with a little bit respect and not talk down to us and...
Read moreThe delivery was late!!
I almost cancelled the order just before I heard a knock on my hotel room door.
I reluctantly took the pizza and wings out of the long-haired kids hands. He apologized profusely and went back into the night.
Cheering for me as I successfully secured dinner, my family crowded around the hotel bed. Late pizza usually means cold pizza, I was dreading the moment I would let them all down Upon that mattress is where we fed.
Pizza: The first bite, I was expecting a soggy, cold piece of pie, but what I got changed me as a man forever. This thin, buttery crust seemed impossible, but it was in my mouth, and my mouth hasn't deceived me yet. The sauce was warm and full of flavor. The pepperoni was cleverly hidden underneath the cheese. Speaking of the cheese, it was just the right amount of gooey yet still held everything together. The pizza was everything we were desiring and more. It tasted like more than pizza, it tasted like a dream come true.
Wings: Dear God in Heaven, those wings!! The aroma that was seeping out of the white styrofoam container immediately struck my wife and I with a salivating lower jaw. She tore open the container, took a bite, then her eyes rolled back in her head as if being massaged by Jason Momoa. The Hot was hot, just as it should be. The outside was crispy, but without any excess breading. What you got here was pure wing. The inside of the wing was piping hot with just the right amount of meat on it. These aren't the best tasting wings I have ever had, but these are the most perfect wings I have ever had the pleasure of eating.
7 minutes later, it was all over. The food containers never left the bed. We stood there, hunched over our makeshift table, looking at each other, stuffed, yet very satisfied. We shared something together that night, greater than a religious experience, greater than a psychedelic trip. That night, in a hotel room in Suprise, we...
Read moreThis place got my business prior to even ordering simply because of the hilarious responses to the "negative" and "one star" reviews. That being said, this pizza is as close as you can get to back home, chicago/pub style pizza. The inside reminds me of growing up in chicago with the local pizza places you had around the corner. First time ordering from here for a party of 50 people and got 7 pizzas. 2 cheese, 2 pep, 2 denos special and 1 veggie. All came out great, all of them tasted amazing, all of them had the right amount of toppings. So idk what the 1 star people are talking about with "little to no toppings." Pricing is about what you get if you get chicago style anywhere so again i dont understand what people are talking about it being expensive... pretty much close pricing to oregano's, lous, and geordanos.. im talking a difference of like a couple bucks. Cash/debit is preferred, if you use a credit card they told me nicely there will be an extra service charge. (Don't cry about it everyone does this now, or worse it's hidden in the pricing of the things you buy). Unfortunately they do not deliver but neither do a lot of other places now plus I Only had to wait a few minutes for the pizzas (no biggie) also they were busy so totally understandable. Thank God I found this place. Finally found a spot that feels like home.
100% cannot wait to order from here again. Keep it up, and don't let the "1 stars" fool you. These people know what...
