Worst Experience Ever!! I placed a on line order for two sandwiches. I went to pick up my order which was ready and headed back to work. Once back at work myself and my co-worker noticed that our sandwiches were not made as ordered and missing several items. On previous orders to this location I have had items missing but over looked it assuming it was in error and it was not worth the hassle to go all the way back for some pickles that were missed. This time however I did call the location to let them know that these sandwiches were not done correctly honestly looking for maybe an apology and may a credit on my next visit for the trouble. Instead the girl who answered the phone said that she did not do my order and would find who did. I then hear them arguing about who filled to order until someone said she filled it and what did I want???? She got on the phone and I explained to her that our sandwiches were not done correctly to which she replied " I made your sandwiches and did the perfectly so I don't know what you are talking about!!" I asked her if she really thought I would come all the way back to work pull items off my sandwich and then call them?? She told me she did not know what I did but that again she made them perfectly!! She finally said I could come back and she would remake them after asking to speak to the manager who of course was not there. Who talks to a customer this way?? I own a business and can not ever imagine speaking to someone like this. I will not be returning. And also working the register with her gloves on and going back to Food line again without replacing glove.I also noticed employee #2 coming in with trashcan in her hand and wearing food type white gloves she sat the trashcan down, went up to the counter grabbed with one hand, the pile of the drink cups, and with the other hand grabbed a cup for her to drink. She walked up to soft drink machine, and poured herself a drink, contaminating the soft drink machine & remaining of the cups she touched on the counter. I called her and quietly explain to her what I noticed. She didn’t like what I told her. Because she did not remove the gloves before she walked away in front of me and continued about her duties they can easily gift customers foodborne illness.
.& 2 weeks ago I was there 8:52 pm before 9:00 pm closing.same shift leader short heavy set (sorry) they don’t wear name tag to identify them. they have been cleaning the restaurant at 8:30 PM & turned off shiftleader told me also.I asked her if I could order sandwich? She said sorry everything is turned off and we’re almost done cleaning. I said you got eight minutes before the restaurant closes. She responded my assistant manager wants me to clean up half an hour before I said, but the restaurant is losing business and sales if you stop serving at 8:30 PM every night just so you can go home early. Read moreI really like Jersey Mike’s and I normally have no problem with their food or service. I stopped in on Sunday evening around 8:32 PM (to 4-5 employees standing around talking). I wanted to order the number 55 which is a grilled sandwich. I was told that the grill had been turned off and cleaned when I questioned this, because their hours say that they are open until 9 PM, they told me that they always turn the grill off 30 minutes early to let it cool down for cleaning. Since the time was 8:32 PM, that means that they must’ve turned it off way earlier because they said it was already cleaned. I’m not okay with a fast food restaurant not offering their full menu until their closing time just because someone doesn’t want to stay 15-20 mins longer to clean the grill. If I had went to Red Robin’s, Applebee’s, Chili’s or BURGER KING 30 mins before closing I could’ve ordered a burger that would’ve been cooked on their grill. Why? Because they keep it open until closing time. I decided to go across the street and eat at Firehouse subs. It was my first time eating there. It was delicious and their full menu was available for me to order (I asked to make sure). At this point Jersey Mike’s may have completely lost my business. I have noticed that every since Covid it seems everyone has an excuse for not doing their job and/or offering poor customer service. It seems to be no different here.
