This place is a nightmare. Zero stars
Got there at 11 am with my husband and 2 year old. We open the door and see itâs one of those places you line up and order and then sit down to eat. Kiddo and I grabbed a table while husband was in line The owner came to âsay hiâ to my kiddo and touched her face as in a playful way. We chatted, nice Romanian guy- I thoughtâŚ
The woman taking the orders looked so mad for some reason.
I was in line waiting for the bathroom w my kiddo and the woman taking orders tells me âI hate when you are about to use the bathroom and here comes a customer âI want bacon and eggsâ (makes a face as if it annoyed her when customers âbug herâ. I thought to myself oh she is definitely not in the right industryđ¤¨.
We are still waiting for food (cold sandwich and burger). I ask the owner how much longer of a wait while I carry my kiddo, who is losing her patience. He replies âtomorrowâ âŚâtomorrow you get foodâ. I go, excuse me? And he walks out. At this point I am ready to leave. Paid for my food but I would rather go somewhere else.
Then, the food magically arrives (sloppy sandwich), my husbandâs onion rings are empty. No onions. Hubby puts ketchup in them and shares some with my kiddo. She eats them. I go ahead and have some onion rings, dip them in ketchup and could immediately tell something was off. The color of the ketchup was off, almost like fermented? I open the bottle and gas came out. The ketchup was not only fermented but had mold in it!!!!
At this point I am pissed!!! The Lion mom in me comes out!!!!! I Grab the bottle and walk up to the front where the owner and the max lady were. I ask the owner: âplease smell that for me!â He goes âsmells fine to meâ and tells me to go the the corner. There is a big line of customers that saw what was happening. I said to him itâs clearly gone bad hasnât it? Owner says nooooo itâs good! I go no itâs not! I grabbed the bottle and asked a random customer to smell and look at it, She goes 𤎠itâs definitely gone bad!!!!itâs so fermented!!! Looks like there is mold in it!?
This was my first time going to this place. It doesnât even deserve to be called restaurant. Here I am, stressed my family will get sick. As a mother and a CVICU Registered Nurse; please avoid at all costs this place.
The owner never apologized, instead; acted like I was crazy. Stay healthy and hope that whoever is...
Read moreThis is in the worst two dining experiences I've ever had in my life, and is a very strong contender for the worst ever.
We waited twenty minutes in line to order, not a big deal they were busy. The checkout lady was extremely rude from the start.
At an hour and ten minutes after ordering, my wife asked me to go check on the food. The chef's said it was dropped, but the check out lady started screaming at me for checking on the food. She started speaking incoherently about bothering all her staff, despite the fact I just stood there, and the Chefs initiated the conversation with me. I had not spoken a word with any staff other than the two Chefs, who were nice about it and not at all combative.
At an hour and twenty two minutes after ordering (not including the twenty in the check out) our first two dishes came out, one of which was incorrect. I went to explain the ticket since they obviously had mixed something up. The check out lady got irate and said she had it. At an hour and thirty minutes the brought out 2 additional dishes, out of 10. At an hour and thirty eight minutes they had now brought out 8 of the 10 dishes. My sister-in-law explained the Reuben and Pastrami were still missing. The waitress was now acting rudely, likely she knew that. How she would think we could assume what she knew after delivering food for 16 minutes is beyond any reasoning.
At an hour and forty minutes they brought the final two dishes.
Everyone's food was alright, but nothing spectacular and certainly not worth that wait. Especially if you are a family doesn't want to eat while others are still waiting on food.
Then to add insult to injury, when my wife went in to get some to go boxes, the check-out lady then again jumped down her throat.
And to make matters worse, a table that came in before us, got their final dish about 10 minutes after our final dish. First three came out about 10 minutes before we started getting served.
All in all terrible. I will never go back and can only recommend you stay far away from this restaurant. They are rude, with extremely long waits for mediocre food and some of the worse service I've...
Read moreMy family and I have ate there 3 times. On the first visit we witnessed the cashier(owner) be rude to a customer. We were shocked but it was none of our business. Second visit we witnessed the same cashier be unspeakably rude to a worker (teenager). My husband and I felt bad for the young lady as she was humiliated in front everyone. I told my husband, that could've been one of our kids. Is this what our children go through when we let them go get their first job? Let me also mention the cashier never smiles she looks miserable and to her leisure will walk away in the middle of taking an order to yell at a worker or customer without excusing herself. Never apologizing for walking away in the middle of the order. I guess third time is a charm because it was my turn. My husband was on the phone with me while I went to order. He was telling me what he wanted since he was holding a table for us inside since seating is difficult and limited. I was repeating what he wanted to her. Then she đ angrily said "maybe you should get off the phone. I told her I was giving her my husband's order and she said fine we will just make everyone here wait for you." I can understand how she could've misunderstood what I was doing but there's no need to be extremely rude. I don't understand how this place can be in business with such unbelievable horrible customer service. I told her maybe she should smile and talk to people better. She then told me "maybe you should eat somewhere that will accommodate your needs". đ thank you, i sure will. I will not support a company that mistreats customers or workers so horribly. I asked a waitress who this lady was because no business owner would allow this behavior from an employee. She said "Phyllis, the owner đ˛" no wonder why she treats people the way she does, she can't get fired. And if you look at the rest of the bad reviews they all revolve around her... and don't bother complaining to Jim. He must be her...
