Placed order via the app, had payment method listed and options to cancel... arrived only to be told order hadn't completed and, per the very busy but less than helpful manager on duty, "that happens all the time". The manager dismissed me and went back the chaos, without offering to retake my order. Another employee made time to take my order, and kept an eye on a third employee who (mis)made my daughter's drink. That employee- I asked her name- Annie- needs recognized for her attention to detail and commitment to customer care! Despite the utter chaos of the rush hour morning, Annie was literally running to get orders out the door (she was in sneakers and there was melting ice all over the place- poor Annie about wiped out twice just while I was waiting for my order- non-slip mats would probably be a worthwhile investment). The lady was wiping down the back counter with a handy wipe, no gloves on (her bare hands) and continued to put the handywipe in a small bucket to rinse the cloth.
Then she immediately started fixing someone's order without washing her hands and without gloves!
The manager came over and said it was fine because she was using sanitized water. That is still no reason why she should not have washed her hands and used gloves between cleaning and filling food/beverage orders!!
This was the same woman who was mopping the floor, then started to fix my coffee without washing her hands or gloves a couple of weeks ago and I asked her to...
