I hardly ever write bad reviews but this place definitely deserves one. Came in on a Tuesday around 3pm for my girlfriend's birthday just to do a tasting and grab a bottle of wine, woman in the back cheese shop was friendly but the man who did the "tasting" if you could call it that was so incredibly bland it was borderline rude. During our "tasting" he said no more than 50 words even with continuous questions about each wine, the grapes, the winery, their wine club and the shop. Each pour was tiny tiny tiny, 3 of the 5 bottles had been open for waaaaaaaay too long and we were rushed to finish each pour. I'm not exaggerating here, host was in horrible mood, wine was open for too long, even with our tiny pours we were rushed, our group of three walked in smiling and walked out 10 minutes later all wondering what just happened and why we even gave this place our business. Spoke to several locals about our experience here and they all had similar things to say about the people behind the counter so I don't think this was a one off bad experience. It sucks that the one review this business has is a horrible one but it is 100% warranted, please read this and make an effort...
Read moreThis place was recommended to us by my mom but was disappointed by the one star reviews saying the owner was rude. I didn't want to judge the place by that alone so we went anyways. This place is so cramped which might not be that bad if he had at least one other person helping him but he didn't so he has a long line and only getting longer because he had to keep walking back and forth from the register to the cheese case which is not right next to each other. What really got me was that he wasn't even wearing a mask. This confirms that he is rude and inconsiderate of others. Will definitely never...
Read moreWe loved this place. We are cheese lovers but aren't well educated on the varieties offered and the process in which they're made and the locations made. The store clerk was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and at ease. We tried many different samples and settled on two stinky and wonderful cheeses: Gouda Two Sisters Isabella from Holland; Bloomy Rind Brebisrouse Sheep from France. Heavenly tastes. Will return or maybe order...
