Food was good. I had a taco salad and the shell was puffy and tasty, ground beef was good. The dressing was very spicy, I was glad I asked for it on the side and I ended up actually using the salsa mixed in my salad instead. That’s where the good part of the review ends. Service was horrible. We got there at 5:45 and didn’t leave until 7:30. It was so slow, and not many customers, so I’m not sure why. Our waitress was also bartending so that may have had something to do with it. My 6 year old wanted only beans and rice. Waitress said that was an option. It came with some kind of pico on top of the beans, which my six year old thought was disgusting. So he only ate the rice and then wanted more. $3 for more rice when it was obvious he didn’t touch the beans. Okay. I ordered a to go meal of only cheese enchiladas while we were still eating and it took about 40 minutes for them to have that ready. We had long before finished our meal and were just waiting on the to-go meal. Went to the bathroom, my son was bored so he enjoyed going out to the courtyard (which has a nice atmosphere — the inside, not so much). I was surprised our bill was about $100 for 3 of us (my child only getting a small plate of beans and rice), and one to-go enchilada meal. Drinks were $4 each and our waitress never refilled mine. So my generous mom let me share some of her soda. I also had asked if the to-go meal came with sour cream and guacamole, and was told only sour cream. So I asked for a small side of guacamole, holding out my thumb and forefinger in a circle indicating a small cup on the side for the enchiladas, and the bill had it listed as a 4 oz side for $7! I couldn’t believe it! I got home and told my spouse about the bad service and high prices despite pretty good food, thinking the experience was over. But then she disappointedly showed me her enchiladas were both chicken rather than cheese! 🤬 The waitress had even clarified twice with me that I only wanted cheese enchiladas to go, and it said so on the receipt! Not going back here!!

Just tried this place for the first time based on a recommendation from the biggest little kitchen store owners. Taiya whose mom makes the salsa was our waitress and was so friendly and kindly helped with drink and menu choices. Everyone (4 of us) raved about the birria tacos, burrito, and my fish tacos were the best we have had. We ordered the street Mexican corn as an appetizer and were so surprised as it was grilled and served perfectly and so fresh! Sean the owner who also is the bar tender served Beers that were cold and mixed drinks did not skimp on alcohol. The Mexican Moscow mule definitely did not disappoint.

Small place down an alley. Music was good and upbeat. Service was perfect as soon as we walked in. Keep in mind that the inside seating is small. So sat outside. The chips and salsa were great. The civicha was amazing. A must try. The pork belly tacos, along with the birria tacos, were hands down amazing. They came with Cilantro Lime rice and whole beans, not refried bean's. Again our customer service was great!!!! A must try place. Public parking is right across the street.

My family decided to try this place for dinner. We originally took a table inside but it was too hot and the windows didn’t have shades to block the sun so we moved outside to the shaded area. It’s a good thing our food came fast cuz only the first basket of chips and salsa is free. The food was very bland tasting. My wife got the Birria tacos and one of them got too soggy from being next to the beans, the meat was dry and they were completely burnt on one side. Her con-some was basically thick grease with large chunks of onions. The beans didn’t really have any flavor either. I ordered the seafood burrito bowl, which was supposed to have mahi mahi, but instead it had COD and nothing was said from the staff as to why. It was also supposed to have an avocado crema, but instead had sour cream drizzled across it and a scoop of guacamole. The kids chicken taquitos were not kid friendly. They were way too hot to eat, too large for a kid, and only had chunks of chicken inside, which fell out when taking a bite. Total we spent $56 dollars and it was not worth it. Everything was over priced for not being very good. Our server Andre could tell we weren’t satisfied and never once asked us how the food was or anything. When it came time to pay he brought the bill and the hand held device to us and walked away before the bill finished processing. Overall we were not satisfied and won’t be coming back. If I could give 0...

I'm a local, Ive eaten here twice. The first time the food was great, we loved it. The second time time, Sunday 4/21 not so great. On the food side, the chips had some seasoning on them that made them have a spicy hot hit even without the salsa. Some chips were stale while others were overly chewy...I don't think they were fresh at all and not sure why they were dusted with the spicy flavoring. I also couldn't finish my dinner because the seasoning on my food also had a spicy over the top hit...the plate I ordered shouldn't of been over the top spicy. They were also out of refried beans....pretty much a staple of any Mexican restaurant. The service if like to mention was above average and she was very attentive. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed in our experience we won't be...
