I found the food here to be a bit hit or miss. I ordered the trotters with sea snail salad, and although the portion size was good, the flavor didn't quite come together for me. I felt that in your face flavor was missing on the trotters, although it wasn't bad. The bean paste dipping sauce was fantastic and I wished a larger portion was given. The sea snail salad I found to be bland, and for me, an after thought. I really wanted there to be more flavor in there, but it fell flat for me. Now that kimchi, I was not happy with that at all. I had a few big, inedible and hard pieces in my container. While the flavor on it is great, when I had some pieces that were soft edible, I enjoyed it. I love the food here. However, I’ve been here 3-4 times at 7-8 pm and literally every single time they said they have no more food. I understand for the first few times, but then my dinner plan was repeatedly ruined. Your listed closing time is 10 pm. Why not adjust the closing time to not waste the customer’s time? I cannot have a good experience if I don’t even have food to try.

EDIT: Unfortunately, I still come back here as this is the best bossam in Duluth. 7 pm on Monday, no food again. Per owner’s reply, I tried to make a reservation, however tough luck because they require a party of 6 for reservations. The portion was more than enough and taste was good as always. Both 족발 & 보쌈 & side dishes melts in my mouth. We visited after lunch hour and they were still busy taking togo orders because people knows the food is good. The server took care of us properly even though he was by hinself. Good tip we learned this time was the water under the 쟁반국수 is actually a 동치미 육수, not the water from the vegies. I wasn't able to take photo but it was delicious.
