I'll start off by saying that even though I came here specifically for coffee and dessert, I definitely overestimated how much I could eat. The portions are quite generous, even for American restaurants, and I find the serving size estimates on the board to be accurate. I'm certain that if I had eaten dinner first, I would not have had room for dessert. So I have no input on dinner so far - but with how satisfied I have been with every aspect thus far, I would expect dinner to be equally amazing.
The outside architecture is very artistic, fitting to the name, and I wanted to try it out so very much just based on the cover. So far? Everything has fit the name Arte. I ordered a café latte, green tea snow bingsu, sweet potato taiyaki (fish bread), and custard taiyaki. I also got to try some of my sister's original waffle - the fruit part, at least. I wouldn't talk about "service" because while there are no waiters, there has clearly been a lot of service in every aspect other than going to your table. They put soooo much effort into every part of our food, from selection of tasty fruit, display, to latte art! Simple but beautiful, the coffee is very satisfying - bold, not sweetened, but not so bitter that it needs sweetening and not acidic in the slightest. Its unsweetened nature makes it a perfect partner for the sweetness of the desserts. The taiyaki was baked, which was a nice, light change of pace to the deep-fried or ice cream taiyaki that I've had up to this point. The filling in both the sweet potato and custard was sweet, but not sickening, and very creamy. The bread itself was pleasant, as it wasn't greasy whatsoever. And this was the first time I've ever had any type of bingsu! It really is like biting into snow! The matcha of the ice cream and snow was delicious (I've had some weird matcha ice cream and lattes before), the ice cream was thick and creamy, the snow was so light and fluffy and still creamy and so pleasant it's almost indescribable! The chewy red bean paste was pleasant, and the contrast of warm red bean paste and cold snow and ice cream was equal to a fresh, warm brownie and ice cream. The slices of almonds were a wonderful addition, providing some textural contrast that was surprisingly so welcome! Just when you think something can't get better. ❤️ And the "cherry on top" was the unexpected mochi sprinkled on, as well. It was so sweet, chewy, and just delicious. The whole experience was incredible. I will definitely come back here next...

Read moreArte has become a popular and vibrant hangout spot for coffee enthusiasts looking for a place to engage in lively conversations. The atmosphere is energetic and the cafe offers ample space, with stairs connecting the ground floor and second floor. During our visit, the three of us enjoyed a delightful coffee session while sharing a Red Bungsu, which was generously portioned for us to enjoy together. What makes Arte truly special is the diverse range of individuals who frequent the cafe, creating an environment where people can unwind and share their life stories. In the midst of our fast-paced lives, places like Arte provide a much-needed haven for relaxation and connection. Don't miss out on experiencing it for yourself!
Updates 101/2024
Arte has quickly become my go-to spot for business meetings, especially on the upstairs level, thanks to its inviting atmosphere and convenience. I find myself coming here at least once or twice a week due to its accessible location and ample parking. What really sets Arte apart is the exceptional service from both the staff and the owner, which has left a lasting impression on us.
During one visit, we noticed that the 붕어빵 (fish-shaped pastry) was slightly overcooked, with a darker color than usual. When we politely mentioned this and were preparing to leave, the owner not only apologized but also personally brought us a freshly baked batch of 붕어빵, along with some extras, as a gesture of gratitude. This level of service and attentiveness really stood out to us and demonstrated their genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
It’s clear that the owner has cultivated a team of humble, yet attentive employees who truly remember and value their customers. I believe the owner’s approach to training and managing her staff has been incredibly effective, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. With this kind of service mentality, I have no doubt that Arte will continue to thrive and succeed. Thank you for always making our...
