Last night on Friday night my wife and I arrived just after 11pm and stood by the door. A female employee leaned over to talk to other two staff members and then walked up and said, we are closed. I asked if we could get something to go and she said, no. This restaurant closes at 12am on Friday nights. We arrived about an hour before closing time. A restaurant should serve guests until their closing time. If you close at 12, serve guests until 12 and prepare to be there until 1. I’m sorry but the kitchen is closed. We’d really like to have you back another time. But this lady walked up and only said, “we are closed.” I said, “could we get something to go? She said, “No.” That’s so unprofessional. She didn’t even ask the kitchen if we could get something to go. She just said, no.” That’s it. That’s...
Read moreThe concept of Gopchang (곱창 - Intestine delicacy) might seem unusual to those unfamiliar with Korean cuisine, but it's a beloved delicacy in Korea, often enjoyed with Soju. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our one-year anniversary for our church's spiritual organization, making it a unique setting to discuss religion and God over a drink. It was fascinating to learn that intestines are rich in protein and low in cholesterol, making them a nutritious option for those needing extra energy.
The service was exceptional, with the waitress explaining the best way to enjoy intestine delicacy and its potential benefits as she served us. Being there brought back fond memories of Korea, and we thoroughly savored every moment of our time at...
