I am truly impressed. We celebrated our son’s birthday here. It was our first time trying it but it was highly recommended. We were given naan, paneer, mint, olives, walnuts and tomatoes to start.
For our appetizers we did 2 appetizer combos. They were incredible. I have never had such moist falafel ever. They are #1 and we had a yogurt dip which just added to the deliciousness. The hummus was flavorful and had roasted/toasted chick peas as a garnish which added a little crunch. The borek we had was filled with chicken and spices. It was wonderful. We also ordered a kibbeh which was fried perfectly on the outside and juicy on the inside.
The main courses my husband and I got were the Erbil Shish Kabob and Tikka Chicken. We will be back for both of these. The way they displayed the food just made you want to savor it all. It was worth savoring because the flavors were delicious. The rice was soft and fluffy and the salad was terrific. The salad was so simple but really brought everything together. The onions were coated in sumac and that is the best way to eat them with your kabob. It really is the little touches that made everything come together and taste amazing.
Our children had the chickens tenders and fries. When I tell you that I have never tried such fresh chicken tenders in my life, I am not joking. The breading is so crispy and the chicken was tender. They were all different sizes as they were actual chicken breasts cut up which was so refreshing to see. The kids loved them and so did my husband and I. The kids loved our kabobs and rice as well.
We also got to try a few of their desserts. The oven rice pudding was phenomenal. It is not overly sweet but just right and it was not thick. I would say more milky in the best way possibly. The Khash khash was sweet and crunchy. The middle part was very smooth and creamy and mixed so well together. I would go in just to have this as a treat. There was also a pistachio cake that was great too. It was not an overpowering pistachio flavor but just light and creamy.
My family left happy and full.
The serving plates and wooden boards were very nice. The whole place is decorated very well and everything is clean. This includes the restrooms; they were spotless. This is a wonderful date night out as most places to sit feel like you are in your own space. Their decorations provide some barriers. We were a larger party and sat in their bigger space which is more of a couch and pillows to sit on rather than a table and it was a fun experience. The culture is very rich and inviting within the whole restaurant.
The service we received was above and beyond. I cannot stress to you how well we were treated. They even had dry ice and made smoke over the food. The kids were so happy and it made the food look so cool. We will be going back and I highly recommend Nature Valley Restaurant...
Read moreI'm thrilled that we finally have an Iraqi restaurant in town! This place exudes the best vibes and is incredibly family-friendly. The food is simply delicious, with each dish crafted to perfection. The atmosphere instantly transports you to the Middle East, evoking a sense of nostalgia and warmth. Whether you're homesick or simply craving authentic cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. What sets this restaurant apart is its dedication to providing a welcoming environment for all. Unlike other Middle Eastern restaurants in Georgia, there are no distractions like hookah or exotic dancers here. You can comfortably bring your family and friends without any concerns. Additionally, the option to call ahead for reservations or walk in and be seated promptly adds to the convenience.
Although the restaurant is new, I'm confident that it will quickly become a bustling hotspot in our community. The owner, Kameron, and the entire staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I've even taken the liberty of creating a quick video to showcase the beauty of this location. In the video, you'll see Kameron, the owner of the restaurant, who personally visits every table to ensure your satisfaction and happiness. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to return. Check out the quick video for a glimpse of the amazing ambiance. Trust me, this place is a gem, and you won't regret...
Read moreWow! What a fantastic meal and experience. Believe the average 5 star rating of this place. Nature Village is truly legit and now my favorite place to get Mediterranean and halal food in Gwinnett and probably Georgia as well. When I first arrived at the restaurant, the doors had not opened for business yet, so my friend and I were analyzing the shopping plaza of which Nature Village was a part of and saying that the location seemed a little dead, but don't let that fool you. This restaurant rocks and is truly high quality on all aspects. The moment you walk in you feel like you have been transported to an exotic middle eastern country. The booths give a bit of privacy to your party. We ordered the appetizer platter and one chicken sandwich platter and this was plenty for two. We added a baklava which was spectacular and tasted high quality and home made with lots of pistachio pieces and flaky goodness. We ordered a coffee which was the lighter of the two options and it was excellent as well. The service was wonderful as well. Our server was friendly and made excellent suggestions which really made the meal just perfect. Parking is plentiful and I recommend adding Nature Village to your list of must try restaurants for Mediterranean and halal restaurants.
5 solid stars and two thumbs way up for Nature Village! Thank you to our server and owners...
