Tried Moringa Kitchen for the first time and left with mixed—but mostly positive—impressions. They’ve done a nice job with the old Cheeky Taqueria space. The ambience feels fresh, and the service was genuinely welcoming. Presentation was on point—every dish came out looking like someone actually cared, which already puts it ahead of a lot of places. We started with the chili garlic shrimp & Brussels and the tikka masala flatbread—both solid choices. The kids’ Alfredo was generous and flavorful without being greasy, which is rare. Tikka masala as a main was decent. A little too heavy on the sauce, and the chicken leaned dry. Burger sounded great on paper—chuck, brisket, and short rib—but it came out well done instead of medium as requested. Still tasty, just not what we ordered. The asparagus side was… three short spears. I get the minimalist approach, but it felt more like a garnish than a side. The spicy shrimp and grits had great flavor, especially after adding an extra round of sauce. The grits themselves were stone-ground but came out a bit dry and needed the sauce to really bring them to life. We wrapped with the off-menu hot honey peach cheesecake. Beautiful idea, but it tipped too far into sweet territory with the syrupy blueberries. Overall, Moringa is doing a lot right. With a few tweaks, it could easily become a go-to. We’ll definitely be back to see how they evolve.

Brand new Restaurant. The interior is beautiful and the staff were fantastic. We ordered the Spinach and artichoke appetizer. The nan was buttery and grilled perfectly. The dip itself was very good. A few artichoke hearts and some feta on top was a nice touch. For entrees we tried the Panko Chicken with Mushroom risotto and the Grilled Pork Chop with mashed potatoes and brocollini. The chicken was a bit dry but very crispy; the risotto had good flavor and was cooked very well. The pork chop had a delicious bourbon sauce and the fat on the pork was rendered well. The flavors were spot on, the cut of meat could have been better for the price. We also ordered the kids chicken tenders which my kiddo wasn't a fan of. I thought they had great flavor. They were seasoned which was her aversion. If your kiddos like to keep it simple stick to the Mac n cheese. The waitress switched her to that and it was a hit. For the price I would like to see improvement in the proteins but the overall flavors and experience were great.

I live in the neighborhood, and this was my second visit to the new Morinda Kitchen in Suwannee. I absolutely love the ambiance and lighting it’s such a cozy, welcoming spot. I stopped by alone for a relaxed dinner before heading home, and it was the perfect choice. I started with the samosas, a pastry filled with potatoes and peas truly delicious! Great texture and a wonderful appetizer to begin with. For my main dish, I ordered the Chef’s Pappardelle Pasta with Pesto and Steak. I forgot to ask for the steak to be cooked medium-well, but even so, the pasta was excellent. The pesto sauce was well-balanced and seasoned perfectly. To complement my meal, I had a mojito, which was absolutely on point. The bartender and staff were friendly and attentive, and the music and décor added to the lovely, low-key atmosphere. Yes, prices are on the higher side as they are everywhere right now but if you’re looking to treat yourself, the food is totally worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Today 8/17/25 I visited the restaurant for the 1st time celebrating my husbands birthday. Among us were 2 Doctors, A musical and 2 singers along with my husband and I who are business owners . First occurrence-I emailed a reservation but the restaurant was not able to confirm the email. Second occurrence the table service brought everyone water and the drink orders and one of the Doctors glass of tea shattered all over him, my husband and myself. A additional glass of water was brought out to Dr. Clark and that glass was crack at the bottom as well. Thirdly- the table waiter was using drying cloths to get the buster glass and water up we had to ask her to get a mop Fourtly - there was only 1 chef/ cook on duty. Fifth- One of our guest received an appetizer that was horrible. The table waiter lady was very apologetic and told us she would not charge for the appetizer and would discount our meal for the broken glass of water. Sixth— my husbands appetizer arrived after his meal. When it was time for the check the table waiter said she spoke with the Chef/cook and No discounts will be given- No manager approached up To offer an apology or to offer any relief of the series of horrible events were experienced at this Resturant. It was very warm in the Resturant. I am asking for a full refund for the meals as well as reimbursement for our dry cleaner bills for Dr, Clark. Mr. Devine and I Ms. Devine.. This was a...

HORRIBLE Mother’s Day experience yesterday. The ONLY thing that made it remotely pleasant was our server, Joseph (or it could’ve been Joshua, I can’t recall). He was truly amazing and was extremely apologetic throughout our entire experience. In fact, make him the manager because the people who are currently in charge clearly don’t know how to run a restaurant.

We waited about 2 hours before we got 3 out of 6 dishes served. The 4th was served shortly after but the steak (ordered medium rare) was well-done. It was sent back, but never returned. So 3 people of our party of 6 had nothing to eat. 2 people from our party even ended up leaving and going to another restaurant after waiting another 45 minutes for the food that never came.

I kept looking around and NO other tables in our vicinity had received their food in full. The kitchen was only capable of sending out bits and pieces to every table.

I know this restaurant is still pretty new, but the experience on Mother’s Day was such a disorganized, chaotic abomination that this place really needs to re-assess just about everything they’re doing.

Honestly, they should be sending out gift cards to the guests to try and make up for it because it was truly...
