Friendly's — Restaurant in Swansea

I give them 1 star because I couldn't give zero. Let me start off by saying this was a first time here, When we pulled up the parking lot was pretty empty, that should've been the first sign for a Saturday at dinner time. First impression was the disgusting dirty glass door at the entrance, looked like it has not been cleaned in a few months. The waitress must have left her "hosting skills" at home because walking up the table and saying "ok what do you want?" Is not how you take a order. She never introduced herself, she never spoke unless it was to take our order. She never refilled any of the drinks, she never came to the table and asked if everything was ok. For god's sake she had 6 tables, if you can't handle that then maybe waitressing isnt for you? My chicken tasted funny and my fries were ice cold, so I choose to not eat and had to flag her down to take the food back after about 15mins of waiting for her to appear. My boyfriends sandwich was cut in half but only half the sandwich had meat on it, the other half had all the cheese melted to the bread. The carpet was DISGUSTING!!! There was food all over the carpet and most smooshed and they just kept walking on it instead of picking up the big piece like apple slices, french fries and napkins. But shockingly enough something even worse than all this happened and it was the icing on my cake.. when the waitress was at the table serving the food my son began choking on a mozzarella stick, he couldn't breath and was grabbing his throat and she just kept serving the food as if it was no big deal! Thank God I have a brain! I gave him a good smack on the back and the food came up, but had it been worse luckily I know the Heimlich maneuver because the waitress was more worried about serving mac and cheese with oranges than she was about someone's life! I will NEVER in my life go there again, this place is not only disgusting but the management needs to better train their staff and tell them to bring their personality to work if they want to make some tips and keep the business coming back! And while they are at it they should pick up a vacuum and learn how to really clean, because most people don't like to eat...

Very disappointed tonight. My daughter's favorite restaurant and the Swansea location is horrible. First they refuse to exchange $1 for quarters for the Gumball machines in the lobby. Why even have them?? We had to ask for a kids menu and then my daughter wasn't given an activity set or fun spoon like the kid sitting next to us.. Then I ordered a kids meal as I have done for the past year and wasn't told there would be a problem until the bill came and noticed additional charges for what I believed to be included; drink and ice cream. When I questioned it the waitress said my manager said adults are charged for drinks and ice cream when they order kids meals. I told the manager I should have been told I could not order the kids meal or the items were additional and that would have been fine. I only ordered the kids meal because a waitress at that location had told me to because I was alway taking half my food home. I literally ordered the ice cream sundae off the kids menu and the waitress could have said it was not included in my meal and wouldbe an additional charge. The manager did not seem to care at all about our experience and just said it was policy and its always been this way... and it certainly has not. The icing on the cake was when I went to the counter to pay with my card instead of scanning the bar code on the receipt the waitress literally put my card, a pen and the 2 receipts on the counter and just walked away mumbling have a nice night.. really?? It definitely wasn't worth the $70.00 I spent for three of us...

the stars this place has are from years ago as someone who’s eaten here since childhood it has gone downhill in all aspects, food quality, menu items, prices have skyrocketed here for the mid food they serve these days I would recommend going to any restaurants over this besides burger king and that’s saying something, also the portion sizes they give are a complete joke trust me especially if you order online they have genuinely served me 2 spoon fulls of max and cheese and it’s just kraft but they cannot even give you more than 4 bites of it, even there best items like the supremelts are mid at best with barely above fast food quality ingredients and they have the audacity to charge almost 15 dollars for one sandwich please do not go here unless you have picky kids that will only eat bland food there is a tai restaurant nearby along with a very good pizza place TLDR mid overpriced food for very small portions and also the cooks there either undercook your food or overcook it so absolutely mediocre across the board while being overpriced and you won’t even feel full when...
