El Centroamericano Restaurant y Liquor Bar — Restaurant in Sweetwater

The food is good and the atmosphere too, the service is very good but the only problem that I had is that I spent almost $500 and Alex the manager was very rude and unprofessional asking us every 15 minutes if we wanted something to drink not because he had good customer service but because he wanted us to leave so he could get our tables, we were 10 all together we got there at 7:30pm thinking that the music started at 9 but it didn't start until 10, it wasn't our fault that they gave us the wrong information but never the less we were there spending money and not for free, so therefore we had the right to be there until we wanted to leave not until Alex wanted us to leave.next time I will think twice to take family and friends there!!!!!...

Place is mid at its best. Food looks fresh and kind of is but, it's nothing to rave about.

Started with the chips and some weird salsa/sauce. It tasted weird and the chips were gross.

We ordered the churrasco and it was a little tough and chewy, we also ordered a big soup that brings mixed seafood and cones in coconut milk. That was bland and was missing flavor. The seafood on the soup was like chewing rubber. Totally gross. Not to mention there was a closed mussel or two. This place was definitely not it. It does have an ok vibe to it but go spend $85 elsewhere in my opinion.

Only thing good was...

Service is great. Thier carne asada was good. The chicharrones was the best thing they have. Do not get thier pollo empanizado, horrible. Do not get thier pollo milanesa. Horrible and small. Thier gayo pinto was not good. Thier chimi churri was not good. Pupusa was wet and soft, was blah. My kids dedos de pollo was better than the 2 chicken meals we had. See the picture below of one of the chickens. Looked like a cooked cloth and tasted worst. Ridiculous the price they are charging for these plates for the quality they serve. Unfortunately not a fan at all of this place. Gave them 2 stars because of the great service they have. 3 adults 1 child. 2 jugos. 2 appetizers....
