House of Subs Rudy's — Restaurant in Swissvale

Disappointing...given their rating I was honestly initially happy I came across them. I'm not sure if I missed the lunch rush ordering around 1:15 since they're only open 4 hours but they clearly didn't care about my order. I requested an Italian sub without Italian dressing and mayo but it had Italian dressing and no mayo. The "cheese steak" we ordered was mostly bread, dry & both subs were somehow completely cold eventhough the order was prepared & delivered within an average timeframe & I live a 4 minute drive away. It also did not have the mayo added that I requested so I don't believe they read the notes on orders. It's especially annoying because they do not do deliveries in store so I paid additional taxes, delivey fees and tip via Doordash and they didn't bother to prepare the order correctly. Lastly the side of fries that I stupidly ordered because they were recommended as a "popular item" on Doordash's menu were under cooked and had zero seasoning, salt or otherwise. Gosh. All this time the best pepper steak hogie was around the corner from me. Lol. Drive by this establishment all the time and never paid attention to what was there. Goggle "steak hogie near me" and this place popped up. I said " i got nothing to lose" and i was right. I dint loose anything instead i gained some happiness. Great prices. The half of hogie sized it basically the size of a whole hogie at most other steak houses. The bread, onions, and of course the steak is amazing. So disappointed Rudy's is just not what it used to be.... Hardly any meat on the Philly steak asked for the dressing they put on them and it was so dry I could hardly swallow it. Not to mention the last up front was so rude and this isn't the first time they have been rude... A couple weeks ago it was an older lady and today was a younger girl. If you don't like your job to where you have to be rude to the customers then get a new job... Sorry for the rant but it's just not the same Rudy's subs from when I was a kid....
