Update 10/27/18: Service has improved and the food portions have increased to match the price. I also noticed they installed sound panels to help with the noise when it’s busy. Glad to see new beers on a regular basis too. It’s moving in the right direction. The beer was pretty good. I really enjoyed the Sunshine Sky and Little Giant. The food was mediocre. We went on two seperate occasions, opening day and two days later. Opening day was a bit chaotic and unorganized, they were out of flatbread and the service was a bit rude. We tried the wedge salad, pretzels, and pulled pork sandwich. The salad was good, but the pork sandwich didn’t have any sauce and was flavorless. Pretzels were a bit overdone and borderline burnt. On our second visit, it was more organized with better service. Also, they did have flatbread, but it was a let down. Same problem with the pork flatbread, not enough sauce and had zero flavor. For $10 I was expecting something more. I love the location and excitement behind it. I hope they can work the kinks out soon and make this a regular stop for Sylvania locals. We are considering one more try in a month or so to see how things improve. I really want to see this take off.

I was incredibly disappointed in my experience at Inside The Five. Every time I have been here, it has been less than pleasant. I really never understand when people suggest to eat here. We sat at the bar, which was great. Drinks were fine, service was fine, bartender was funny and polite. I ordered the Avocado Toast, which may have been my fault (never order avocado toast unless you KNOW it's fresh cado). I was blown away by how poorly the food was made. It looked horrible on the plate, barely any avocado, I had to finish spreading the avocado myself because it was just plopped down on my toast, more tomatos than the eye could see. All in all, the meal was just not good. Like at all. I'm not one to complain, but ya'll are charging $11 for this. I expected maybe some onion, maybe some actual fresh avocado instead of practically browning avocado spread. I was very disappointed at how poorly the toast was made, how bland and boring for the price, and the taste. I do give a lot of credit to the bartender. I didn't even mention this to him and he took my toast off the bill anyway. Assuming he saw that I barely touched it. Thank you for that!

while the drinks and food were good, the service was not good. we waited for a table for 40 minutes which is understandable on a Friday night, however, once seated it took over 25 minutes to be acknowledged at our table. When we were able to catch someones attention, we were told they forgot to assign our table to a server. During this time, three servers attended to tables around us and didn't inquire if we were being helped. When we finally got up and asked for assistance, it was another 15 minutes. We finally got a server who was available, we waited another 20 minutes for drink refills. I understand restaurants being busy on Fridays, but this is a management issue. There is no good reason that a customer should go so long with no acknowledgement. even if it's not your table, get their drink order and alert your management. very disappointed.

We wanted to support a local Pacesetter Tournament Sponsor and this this one of them. Big points for asking us if QR menu was ok otherwise they'd hand you a menu. We opted for the QR menu to be cool about it. LOL. We like beer flights and these were good. My favorite was #2. We were also hungry so we ordered food. Not a complaint but a suggestion for them: change the grease/oil more often. The chicken tenders and tots we ordered were too dark. They were cooked but looked burnt. For me, presentation is always key. We chose the honey siracha dipping sauce and that was tasty! Definitely recommend that. The staff were busy but friendly. It was nice because even though they looked tired, they had a smile on their faces. Spacious, and fun atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

Inside the Five has some of the best food in the area and in my book it’s the best out of the brewery’s. We started our meal off with jalapeño bites which were amazing. They were filled with bacon,Gouda, cream cheese, and off course jalapeño. These had so much depth and blew out of the water your standard ones. For dinner we got the Nashville and Chicken and waffle. To me the the Nashville is on the same level as the real thing. I rank it 1 in the area as well which there are som heavy hitters in this category. The chicken and waffles were perfect. The syrup was to die for and the chicken was friend to perfection. We love this place and we think you will too!
