Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Syracuse

This was taken from my yelp review hence the reference to many 1-Star reviews.

Do not... I repeat... Do not come here!!! This location is an absolute joke and I hope and pray the owner of this franchise sees this and sees that this location is a joke. I shouldn't have gone here based on the other 1 star reviews, but I figured I'd stop anyway since I was at Walmart close by. Anyway I went through the drive thru and there were a whopping 2 cars in front of me. It took 17 minutes from the time I placed my order until I got my food. It would literally be faster to go to Layton or Clinton's Carl's Jr. and get good then it would be to wait in this joke of a "fast food" drive thru. When I got o the window I asked the kid working if there was only 2 people working (I could only see him and what I'm assuming was the manager) and he said no there was 3.... 3 freaking employee's during lunch time??? What in the absolute hell is that? Why don't you adequately staff your franchise? I guess putting more money in your pocket is more important than adequately staffing your restaurant. I'd bet dollars for doughnuts that this place would perform much better, be faster, and have better reviews if the owner invested in a half decent and adequately...

Waited 20 minutes to get out food (1 salad, 1 taco, and an order of taquitos). This is after it took us 7 minutes just to place the order as the kid on the counter seemed very new and overwhelmed. All this time the kid was struggling the manager and other crew sat in the kitchen area talking instead of helping him out. So about 30 minutes of total wait time! I figured a positive to this is at least my food would be fresh, but that didn't happen either. Taquitos cold, salad disgusting, just awful food. On top of that while we were sitting down eating we could clearly hear the employees using profanity in they're conversation (not a big deal except they were in the dining area now in front of customers) to which I found was very innapropriate and unprofessional. I will never return to this location. I love carls Jr. But I will not spend my money here! Terrible service and terrible food. Complete waste...

Horrible experience through the drive thru! Only 2 cars in front of me. I waited about 25 minutes for my food. The guy behind me didn't even stop to pay or get his food. The guy working the register, perhaps the only person there at all, was polite and apologized for the wait. I understand that delays periodically happen, but that is only half the story. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a double cheeseburger. Both were not very hot and smashed to about a 1 inch thickness. I was even ok up to this point for the most part, but the tipping point for me to waste 10 more minutes of time writing this review, is the fact that my double cheeseburger was only a single.
