On July 4th I ordered with a friend of mine and received smoothies that where not filled up, and we had to remind this employee on shift of multiple missing items in our order such as sauces and the missing seasoning on both our french fries. My friend asked for BBQ seasoning on his fries when we placed the order and instead of remaking the order correctly or even giving us each new fries with our desired seasoning, she misunderstood the order again and my friend received spicy seasoning instead of the BBQ seasoning he originally asked for.
She also told my friend he could not get a large fry with his order because it would cost extra and we couldn’t receive a combo meal if we got the large fry. I understand we couldn’t receive the combo meal with a large fry unless we were to pay extra, although we were willing to pay the difference for the large fry and she didn’t even give us the opportunity to make that decision when we ordered. She instead proceeded to place our order with a combo meal and medium fry instead of giving us what we had asked for in the first place. She gave no warning before hand that she couldn’t give a large fry with a combo meal until after the order was made and she just gave a medium fry without informing us and assumed we wouldn’t want to pay extra charge for a large fry.
On Tuesday July 6th at 4PM I came in without my friend because they didn’t even want to come in after seeing that same employee was on shift from July 4th. When paying for my drink I had asked if she had some sort of stylus or pen for me to sign my signature on the tablet confirming my transaction for my drink so I didn’t have to use my finger on the tablet. She couldn’t locate one, and I understand now why the transaction tablet would necessarily have a stylus to sign and the tablet device requires you to use your finger, though I asked anyways. However, instead saying she didn’t have one and having me sign my signature with my own finger, she did it for me. I questioned her and she said my signature ‘literally doesn’t matter.’ I was in such shock that she just openly and confidently forged my signature right in front of me without my consent even after I questioned her she just did it and moved on with the transaction and didn’t want me to question further.
I asked for a receipt and she said she would give me one. After my order was made she still has not gave me my receipt so I asked for one again after my drink was prepared and she said she cannot print the receipt. She made the excuse that she was new here for two weeks and I asked if there was anyone here that could help her retrieve my receipt and she said she was the only one there.
She was also extremely rude and untrained on both dates. She would not call out orders she would place peoples orders right at the check in counter where people place would their orders and expect people to know which order is which and come get them without calling out or stating which order is which. She also didn’t have any straws out or prepared for each order she’d place out at the check in counter and I had to ask her for one on both dates I came in.
I have not received this type of service from any other employee there since I have been coming here frequently over the past few months. I enjoy boba smoothie and would hate to see its reputation tarnished by one employee. I would like to give this employee the benefit of the doubt as a new employee however her service doesn’t make us want to come back anytime soon,...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Boba Smoothies and Donut and I must say, the experience left me thoroughly impressed. As a lover of both matcha boba and popcorn chicken, I was excited to try out their offerings, and I was not disappointed.
Let's start with the matcha. The moment I took my first sip, I could tell that this was no ordinary matcha drink. The balance between the rich, earthy notes of the matcha and the creamy sweetness of the milk was just perfect. It wasn't overly sweet, which allowed the authentic flavor of the matcha to shine through. The drink was also impeccably frothed, giving it a velvety texture that was a joy to sip on. Whether you're a matcha aficionado or just dipping your toes into the world of green tea, this matcha drink is a must-try.
Now, onto the popcorn chicken. I'm quite particular about my fried chicken, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well Boba Smoothies and Donut nailed it. The popcorn chicken was impeccably crispy on the outside, revealing tender and succulent meat on the inside. What stood out was the flavorful seasoning that coated each piece, adding a savory depth that kept me reaching for more. The portion size was generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends or indulging in as a satisfying snack.
The ambiance of Boba Smoothies and Donut was also worth mentioning. The cozy and inviting interior created a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Boba Smoothies and Donut truly knows how to craft a harmonious blend of flavors that cater to both boba and lovers of comfort food. Their skillful execution of matcha beverages and mouthwatering popcorn chicken make it a standout destination for anyone seeking a delightful culinary adventure. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreI’m autistic and I struggle a lot with trying new things , especially food. I took a chance when my gf and I found this restaurant because it has a lot of our safe foods. I had placed my first order yesterday, and at first I thought it was the smokable bud playing tricks on my taste buds. No, no tricks, genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever had. Only flaw was my fault, my burger had ingredients on it I didn’t want because I was too high when I ordered and didn’t put it in correctly. The sheer amount of options for flavor customizations was impressive, and the garlic parmesan fries were worth committing atrocities against my fellow man for. I’ve never had boba before, I haven’t had tea since I was 12, but I did a build your own drink and did chocolate milk tea with strawberry popping boba and I swear I felt joy I hadn’t experienced since childhood. Like a dead part of my brain got new batteries. Ordered again tonight while actually tethered to Earth and even more impressed. The bao made me tear up a little. My gf is equally in love as I am. She got taro milk tea with blueberry popping boba and she’s a already obsessed. Spent a lot of money only because we bought a metric fvckton of food, it’s very reasonably priced. Plus the serving sizes are well worth it. I don’t know about the atmosphere actually because I haven’t been inside, but I’ve never tried a restaurant this good or neuro-divergent friendly in my life. Not sure I’ll ever eat at a different...
