After being introduced to Pho many years ago I’ve come to realize that not all Pho broth tastes the same lol. This restaurants broth is the ONLY reason I have continued to give them my business because it’s definitely not for the service. It wasn’t always that way, the previous owners of this spot were always very kind and accommodating. However, the new woman who runs it is the complete opposite. It honestly has dumbfounded me on why she treats me with such rudeness and bad attitude because I’m always polite and never not tip. Whenever I ask her for anything beyond what she’s decided to bring me I’m either met with an eye roll, shortness, or bad attitude. I’ve never even asked her for anything complicated, it’s always reasonable. For example she brought me chop sticks with my Pho (which I’m not good at) so I asked for a fork instead. Then when she brought me the fork I realized my cup was empty so I asked if I could please have some more water. Or when I went to the register to ask for a to go container. Then maybe 10 mins later I went back to the counter to ask for another one because my kid couldn’t finish their soup like they had assumed. After she handed me the second container I asked for a to go bag to put our left over soup in which really pissed her off. And then earlier today I ordered some food to go. But since I was starving I decided to eat my eggroll at the table before getting in my car and accidentally spilled some the dipping sauce. I checked the to go bag for a napkin before having to ask her but of course there were none in there and they don’t keep napkins at the tables. Which by the way I find totally weird and really inconvenient for any sit down restaurant not to keep napkins on the tables for customers, but I digress. So dreadfully I go to the register and politely explain I spilled some sauce so could I please have a napkin and this lady had the audacity to very loudly roll her eyes at me before grabbing the napkin. I’m literally trying to make your job easier by cleaning up my mess so you don’t have to and yet your giving me attitude about it. I could have just left it like a jerk and not even said anything. I just don’t understand people like this, let alone business owners. You don’t treat regular customers this way. And I always spend a fair amount of money whenever I eat here because I’m feeding a family of 4. I truly hate that I’ve continued to give this rude woman my business but sadly it’s the only Pho spot I’ve found that has broth that I like that’s...
Read moreThis is my second time eating at this restaurant and both times the food was AMAZING. The first visit I had the large vegetable pho minus the fried tofo, the second time I had the large seafood pho. Both were delicious and felt very nourishing after fasting. I believe it was roughly $15 dollars a meal which is very reasonable considering the quality!
The service was spectacular, a very balanced mixture of engagement and peace. I probably ruined the peace a bit slurping the broth though tbh😂
The atmosphere was great, like i said, very peaceful and welcoming. A different vibe from the normal American restaurant but it ISN’T the normal American restaurant and i love that about the place. Plus she threw on some music that was exactly what i needed to hear in the moment and i connected with deeply, it was soul filling.
Thank yall for the great food, your kindness and service! I wish y’all nothing but...
Read moreI've been ordering here for over 4 yrs, I always order the same thing, large steak pho with extra hoisin and extra saracha...I pay for the extra sauce as well...the owner was very rude to me today ..she stated she would not give me extra saracha to go, but if I sit down and eat I can use all the saracha I like...I've also noticed the quality of meat is tougher lately than usual so I stopped ordering from here regularly already...she than proceeds to tell me where I can buy saracha at, but I said why would I buy it it im getting a meal from you and it comes with it here...she then tells me I need to take my business elsewhere....I never got loud, raised my voice, and I also am in the food business as well, so for me to spend my money on food is rare, but myself and my whole family and friends will no longer support...
