I have two experiences my most recent one is last night as a Dasher. Around 1 AM in the morning I waited in line to pick up my customers order and I waited in the drive-through for over 40 minutes, not an exaggeration. I accepted two orders one was for Jack-in-the-Box and the other one was for Taco Bell Both relatively close to each other. During my weight for the Jack-in-the-Box order, which was the first pick up, my other customer became very irate for the wait. I tried to calmly explain to her that I had no control of how long this is gonna take. Because of that she dropped me. Mind you my offer for picking up both of these orders was a little over eight dollars but because my second customer dropped me I was paid $3.50.
Another experience was a few weeks ago with me being the customer purchasing food. Again in this situation, I had to wait quite a while on the drive-through. I was picking my fiancé up from the hospital around 3 AM And we were picking up food because it was too late/early to cook and we were just hungry. By the time we got our food, it was lukewarm And I ordered a bacon and Swiss burger. And curly fries, both of which We’re not warm. It tasted OK, but for some reason after I consumed my burger, I vomited. Not sure if it was because of the temperature of the food or handling or some of the ingredients possibly being left out But from that day forward, I decided Jack-in-the-Box is not somewhere I want to dine. I remember many years ago when Jack-in-the-Box had the E. coli breakout And for that reason, I did not eat Jack-in-the-Box for many years. Other than these issues, I can’t complain about the customer service. They were as friendly as can be especially the guy running the drive-through. The night I picked up my food. It seemed like he was the only one working in the whole establishment, which is no fault of his own. If you’re looking For a bite to eat in the middle of the night, we’re very few places are open. This is not a place you wanna go Especially if it’s taking this long late night or early morning, it makes me wonder. Do they have these problems in the daytime where they have more employees working. With the cost of Jack-in-the-Box nowadays, it’s really wrong to get this...
Read moreI don't know what it is about the night crew that makes this place an entirely different experience. I used to frequent this location before the summer during the daytime, but I come here and it's full of kids at night time. None of them seem to care about their job, or any kind of expediency. I waited at the window for 7 minutes just for my sandwich, and it's not even the right sandwich! Sumyungdumone made my Buttery Smash Jack w/ extra Butter into a Jumbo Jack w/ extra butter. Nowhere near the same taste! The crew up front just left the homie in the grill hanging. Then when I call back to ask if I can trade the food, the phone number goes straight to voicemail! I leave a message but No call back in over a week! I still have the food in my freezer and the receipt so I will be getting my money back one way or another. But this place won't be getting any more money from me until that night time...
Read moreWe never go to fast food chains really, maybe a couple times a year between all the big ones.. I was craving an Oreo shake from Jack in the box like I remembered from childhood, so decided to hit the drive through at 11:30 pm hoping the shake machine was still up and running. Sure enough I ordered a number 23 and substituted the drink for a large oreo shake. The guys working there were impressively fast, attentive and extremely nice. The Oreo shake was somehow better than I remembered it being... quite possibly the best shake I've ever had. The breakfast sandwich on that delicious buttery sourdough was certainly a winner. But the hashbrown was lacking, both in flavor and in texture. Maybe it's because I saved it for last and had already spoiled my taste buds but I could have definitely gone for a more crunchy flaky bite. All in all it was a very good experience and I will certainly remember...
