Ordered same-day delivery for a friend and her family who lost a loved one over the weekend. Ordered the flowers around 1115am today, got an email at 1151 saying they were out of the flowers I ordered and can push to tomorrow or do designers choice. I emailed back within 20 minutes saying designers choice was fine. Then got a call at 120pm saying they only just saw my email and they've already gone home for the day and they'd have to push til tomorrow. Why offer an alternative service then not check until after you leave for the day? The rep on the phone was very nice and apologetic but I selected same day because it's when my friend works from home and the website states they won't leave flowers outside (which is a great policy, but doesn't help me in this situation). I was really trying to go with a local company but unfortunately their timing doesn't align now with my needs. I hope to use them again in the future and update my review based off that experience, but for this one it was a major letdown. She did offer to see if there was anything her manager could do, but as I need the flowers to go out today I just accepted the refund. Don't let this review deter you from using them, just be aware that your timing may need to be flexible. Read moreWhat we ordered (online photo) vs what we got. Ordered a bouquet for my mother-in-law and paid a whopping $90. Got an email the next morning: "unfortunately, we are currently out of some of the flowers in your chosen design. To ensure you still receive a beautiful arrangement, we are sending an upgraded bouquet with a similar style and feel that may be slightly different colors. If you have any concerns, please contact us before 12 pm." I called right away and told them we specifically ordered that bouquet because of the thistles and asked that they replace them with another unique flower. And also asked them to replace the dead flower front and center. The lady on the phone was rude and said no changes would be made, the bouquet was the same value as the one we purchased (not upgraded like their email stated) AND it was already going out for delivery (this was at 8am when the email states to call before 12pm with concerns). I would like to think for $90 they could make some simple adjustments and follow through on their words stated in their email. The lady hung up on me after I asked kindly for those couple changes. Read moreI placed my order with Jennelle. She was helpful and very pleasant I have ordered flowers from Williams Flowers before and the whole process, including delivery was seamless. Unfortunately this time being so close to Valentines Day, the delivery service was a mess. It wasn't Willams Flowers doing the delivery this time, but a second party carrier they were using. The delivery service took the flowers to 2 different wrong locations, and kept texting my 87 year old mother and telling her he was already back home and she would hve to go get the flowers herself. Luckily the 2nd wrong location was in her building, just the wrong apartment on the wrong floor. Fortunately a neighbor walking down the hallway knew my mother and took the flowers to her at her apartment. I called Williams Flowers and made them aware of the issue. They were nice and apologized for the issue and said they would deal with it at their end.
Too much stress for my 87 year old mom. But I want to reiterate that Jennelle was great and I will use their service again, I will just request that Williams Flowers handels the delivery and not a seasonal...
