Jade Lounge — Restaurant in Tacoma

My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. The business it was before holds a special place in our hearts as we met there 5 years ago, so when Jade Lounge opened in its place we were so excited. Being a gay bi-racial (Japanese/Italian) person, I love what this business stands for. They are so incredible to the LGBTQ community and are serving flavors for the Asian community specifically. I have loved every drink I’ve tried from here and never had an issue. People complain about the wait but I’ve never waited that long and if they didn’t have something I wanted I just tried something else. I will say they are worth the wait. They’re very busy for good reason. When I need to treat myself, this is where I come. Christina always makes me laugh and smile and she is just an incredible person. Thank you also for making our anniversary special yesterday. Anyone would be foolish to not try them out. When in doubt, classic milk tea, any matcha, or Raveberry....

Came in at 9pm, an hour before closing. We were standing waiting to order our drinks and no one took our order right away even though there was only 1 other customer inside at the time. and then it took awhile to get our get our drinks too.

Our drinks were so nasty. The one in the picture is the "strawberry hendrix". It tasted like dirty water with rotten strawberry chunks. And looked it it was scraped?

I got the grinch, which was not as bad but I think was either prepared wrong or the flavors did not mix well together. Not sure if it is supposed to be green (because of the name?) but it was a weird light pink/brown color.

The girls working were unprofessional and even though their prices are affordable, it was still a waste of money. Cute store, gross drinks. Go to...

Jade Lounge has been a go to spot since they opened back in 2022! In place of the former Bertolinos that I was accustomed to, I had my hopes high for this new business. Since then, they've never fallen short! I am guilty myself of going there for consecutive days to get something different...it's that good. Great quality matcha if that's your vibe, and genuinely some of the best range in composition/taste of drinks available for the prices they offer.

The environment is also worth indulging if you have the time-- from music, to aesthetics, to even the late night events and vendors they have hosted for and from the community. This place gives back as much as they are given, and would always always...
