BUYER BEWARE/CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!!! Usually love to stop by Memo's for some fairly authentic Mexican food. I have noticed the prices really starting to jump and change more frequently, though. But what I experienced today was new and people need to be forewarned! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS (also make sure you get a RECEIPT). I was surprised after paying the said amount that the actual prices listed on the receipt, including tax, did NOT ADD UP TO THE TOTAL that I was charged which was what was shown on the receipt. I couldn't believe that was possible because it was the receipt printout from their register, but sure enough (see photo), those listed prices PLUS the tax add up to $35.52...THREE dollars and 24 cents difference that was charged and then collected on! I was still on-site when I reviewed the receipt and realized this, so I parked and went back in and told them their receipt didn't add up. They, of course, didn't know what I was talking about and I had to show them on my phone calculator how the listed prices and then adding the tax shown did NOT add up to the total on the receipt. They then tried to explain it was the extra sauce I ordered which is shown on the receipt and also shown to have no charge associated with it...even if that was somehow the case, THREE dollars for some extra sauce on the item that already comes with the same sauce?!?!? And even then, you can't say you're charging me for it and then it doesn't show the charge on the receipt! There next attempt was to point to the menu on the inside of the store and say the various prices were different/more...so what if they were, the RECEIPT from my purchase was wrong and overcharged me by about 10%. I wonder if this happens with all of their transactions or if it's some glitch in their computer/register system, but you can't run a business like that, so I'm not saying stay away (because the food is pretty good), but double-/triple check your receipts and make sure everything is checking out. They did pay me back the difference in cash, although that was a struggle with them knowing the difference in the overcharge, first trying to hand me $2.24 and then I had to insist for the third dollar which generated the sarcastic response from the "manager" of "here, what, you want more??"

I was curious about this place, so I went to try out their carne asada tacos, which were described as having, “a variety of fillings such as meat or beans” on their menu. When I ordered in Spanish, the cashier replied to me in English only. I thought that was rude, and more so when I later heard her take an order over the phone while speaking Spanish. My to-go order took under 20 minutes as I waited near the register. I asked for napkins in Spanish before I left, and again, I got a reply back in English of “here”. The atmosphere was not inviting as I did not get a standard greeting nor goodbye like they gave to other customers at their drive-thru window and for another customer that came in to pick up a carry out order. You would think that for $30 or less, you would get a “¡Qué le pase un buen día!” / “Have a good day!”. I was not welcomed or acknowledged. When I later opened my plastic box, I saw there were excess sliced tomatoes in the tacos, instead of being included as a side in a separate container. I have nothing against tomatoes in general, this was just too much for tacos. I would not come back here because of their poor customer service despite my being kind and civil. Por favor, apréndense a como dar la bienvenida y respetar a todos, o escojan otra carrera.

Was here around 1 pm. Ordered inside for take out. Busy, but wait not too long. Food tasty. Both red & green sauces flavorful. Value for the buck. Will definitely return. Returned June 12, 2022 around 11 a.m. on a Sunday. Busier than normal. Tried out the Machaca plate in addition to the regular stuff, and discovered another winner. Always great to have a large menu to discover new favourites. Visited Sept. 21, 2022 at 1 p.m. (Wednesday). Surprisingly not busy. Fast and efficient as usual. Update May 20, 2023. Visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday. Service was fast, and food (Carne Asada fires & Carnitas burrito lunch special) was actually outstanding today. New Menu posted - a little more expensive, but remains good value for the money. See the 2 new photos from the inside lobby area. Sorry for missing the lunch specials panel. Will update with next visit. Update Jul 23, 2023 Sunday around 10 a.m. Food great. Service fast.

Don't get me wrong. I have been coming here for many many years and have always enjoyed their food most of the time but this time it was really different... but on a side note the drive through is always packed and if you order take out or work for door dash you have to find a spot to park in their parking lot of like 3 spaces TOTAL! and walk in just to have the person who is at the drive through hand you your food so you can walk out again get in your car and have to wait for a break that never happens in the cars in the drive thru in order to finally pull out and leave. On top of that been seeing rats near the dumpster and their back door that they always have open is right next to their dumpster so you know what this mean people, right? Secret infestation?!?! They never give me and my fiance silver ware. They never can get my order right. I mean NEVER. Super language barrier and they don't even try and are often rude about everything. They don't take any of their own coupons either BTW. Even from Groupon. I'm not racist but how can you work the drive thru in the northern united states when you can't even speak or understand the English language?!?!?! The one thing that I always request because I don't like it because it is strange and it's certainly not authentic at all is the amount of nasty browning shredded lettuce they put on the top of their enchiladas so it can turn into a greasy melted cheese salad over tortilla and meat. Anyways this is the last time I they get my order wrong and I laugh it off because of the language barrier because this time I ATE SOME SERIOUSLY ROTTEN FOOD!!! it was in their enchiladas. I think it was the vegis because I had the strangest taste when I started eating them and had to try to disect it as I ate and keep spitting it out then I noticed the beef was raw and also a bit sour once I got in the middle of my enchilada. I have always wondered what it would be like to fully empty my bowels and now because of them I have been emptying them for 3 days now and lost 10 lbs and although I admit I needed to lose 10 lbs this is not the way I was hoping on doing it. All I have to say is if you don't want to put your stomach thru as much pain as I have been going though then please from the bottom of my heart head my warning and don't go there. It just really sad because other than Dennys on hosmer that's the only place is that is open 24hrs. And it sucks even more because I literally live on 6th Ave 3 blocks down from them.... sad to no longer go there. But I don't like to be in pain and sick for so long and lose this much weight. I have to go to urgent care now you guys! Thank for reading my novel about memos emptying my bowels. Have a great day everyone! I hope mine...

I’m reviewing this with the knowledge (and expectation) that this is a cheap restaurant. There’s only so much one can expect from a 24 hr burrito joint, right?

As others have noted, this place is located in a weird area that backs up onto a major street; because of this, I use DoorDash for both delivery and pick up. This evening, I placed my order through DoorDash and set off to pick it up. It’s not unusual to walk in and be completely ignored-today was no different, however, there was one fat Hispanic woman at the cash register and another woman filling small portion cups of hot sauce. I could see the bag with my name on it with my burrito. After about 10 minutes, no one even acknowledged I was standing in front of them so I asked if I could have my order. The fat lady looked at me and lied straight to my face, telling me my order wasn’t ready without asking me my name or what I ordered. I then pointed to the bag and all the sudden I “needed” to show her the order in the app. I should probably note that the same woman was working the other day and didn’t ask for any proof of who I was when I picked up my order. (I think I should be asked to verify who I am so that’s not the issue). Clearly she was being vindictive because I called her out on her lie. This same fat woman then told me to say, “please” like I’m a child and/or she was doing me a favor (I normally would use those common courtesies if I hadn’t waited around 10 minutes, unacknowledged). After explaining to her that I wasn’t going to do that and that she was providing a service I had already paid for-she said she wasn’t going to give it to me. At this point, I just reached under their plexiglass partition and grabbed the bag myself. I probably should’ve done that in the first place.

I’m never going there, to that location again and advise others to do the same. There are other locations. These...
