Starbucks — Restaurant in Tacoma

I always go to this place to get coffee. I don’t mind driving the extra mile.

I always got the Iced brown sugar oat milk Shaken Espresso. (Extra ice, light milk, and extra cinnamon).

In any business, the employee can be an asset or a liability.

Anyway, today I ordered my favorite drink and after I left I tasted it and it did not taste right. They always get it right today not sure what happened.

I was a little bit pissed because I had to drive back but I understand it happened.

When I went back the employee (Young black female @12:28 drive thru)was polite and understanding. She remade the drink even though I was hoping for just brown sugar to add to the drink.

She was very nice with a great attitude and proved to me that she cares and wants to make it right. She even asked to come back if it did not taste good. It made my day.

Some people in other places will fix the problem but you can see in their face and their attitude that they are not happy about it it’s only because they had to.

As a business owner myself employees like that person who does care she is a great asset to the company. Customer service it’s not easy so it’s hard to find people who have great skills for that position.

Update Throughout the pandemic, and the increase use of mobile ordering through both the Starbucks app and third-party such as UberEATS, the staff at this location have been incredible. These individuals always have a positive attitude, are willing to lend an extra hand when requested, and it's obvious how much hard work they put in to keep their store in top form while still taking care of each customers needs.

The parking and drive-thru situation is terrible there's no doubt about it - but the amazing service and support that has been maintained at this location is worth it. Keep on keepin' on!

Super clean space, friendly staff, and lots of options for seating both inside and out. This is a very convenient location for this area of Tacoma, especially with the drive-thru. On a nice summer day like this I would suggest a Passion Tea Lemonade to fix anyone's thirst. Perhaps a cake pop too,...

I would give them a zero star if I could. I have been there multiple times because they are closest to my house. I can't have dairy or much sugar due to real health reasons. Still just easy substitutes with sugar free flavor and coconut milk. They don't even need to add syrup or whip cream...easy!Every time I've been there they got my order wrong and expected me to deal with it. When I ask them to remake it they get an attitude. I honestly wonder if they spit in my drink with the attitude they give me. Then because they have to remake it I constantly wonder if it's right even the second time. I've even asked for the largest size and they gave me a tall. I was so focused on not being pain from the drink I had them remake it and they made it into a size I didn't pay for. I have never been happy with this place and always leave feeling cheated and upset. Go the extra mile to a place that will treat you...
