Inedible and expensive.. We ordered the tacos dorados plate and the enchilada plate. Our order cost $40 and was supposed to have 5 tacos and 5 enchiladas. Seems simple, right? Apparently not....

The tacos had almost no meat in them and were fried and completely covered in lettuce and sour cream, messy and too fried.. inedible. How are we even supposed to eat these totally covered in lettuce and sour cream? We had to dig them out of the lettuce pile. Small-size tortillas. Nothing else in them but a tiny amount of chicken. No sour cream and guac as stated in menu.

The enchiladas had basically no sauce, small tortillas covered in lettuce and sour cream, and no meat in them.. they put 2 small cooked pieces of chicken ON THE SIDE that we had to cut up and put in the tortillas.. worst enchiladas ever. I would not even call these enchiladas. Just dirt cheap tortillas and a piece of chicken for $20. No meat in the enchiladas, no sauce

No rice and beans for $40

In the pic, a taco is on the left, the enchiladas are on the right. You can't even tell because they dont look like enchiladas. I opened them up to show that there's no chicken in them.

I asked specifically on the phone to check we were getting 5 tacos and 5 enchiladas.. well this is the worst "mexican food"...

Whoa, wow - holy...yum The food is simply exceptional

The Queso Birria tacos are a magical melty delight of cheese infused chicken (or beef) snuggled into a perfectly buttery bubbly-crispy-chewy shell with the onion-cilantro chop to top off the already sumptuous texture - and the chicken.... ...those prefect tender caramel glazed nuggets of heaven that can only be done by those who have truly put the time in. Incredible.

The Frito De Puerto was so tender and savory-rich without being too salty. Super slow roasted pork marinated in bold but nuanced rojo sauce - so darn good.

We will drive 45 min down from Seattle to come eat at this place then get multiple to-go orders.

the family that runs this joint is simply delightful and they clearly take pride in these heirloom recipes and preparation - no compromising

The quintessential hole-in-the wall gem places likes this, with this level of quality are becoming more rare everyday

I tried this place for the first time thursday, and it was outstanding (lengua torta). I was so excited that I decided to bring lunch to my wife on saturday, we got a carnitas tacos and carnitas torta to go. Service was great and the people were nice as I remembered from the few days before. When we got to the food it was packaged well with additional salsa and it smelled amazing. I was so excited to dig in and with my first bite I got a huge chunk of inedible gristle and bone. When my wife opened her tacos at first I thought it was tripas because the meat looked nothing like carnitas so I grabbed a piece to try it and it was the same quality just bone and gristle. I am not gonna lie I was hungry so I picked through to find the few pieces of edible meat and tossed the rest and ate the torta. My wife tossed all the meat off hers and ate the tortillas and cilantro. She gives the tortillas 5 stars! Because of this experience i will probably not go back again unfortunately because I am not sure which quality i will get...
