Terry's Office Tavern — Restaurant in Tacoma

First time customer. It's a Friday night and my girlfriends and I want to get together for a drink. Terry's was recommended to us by Google. Today's date 3/18/22, 11pm for reference. Worst service I have ever received in any food/beverage establishment I have ever been in. I can not even put into words how bad my girls and I felt for just walking in the door, like we were a burden. The only bartender working was more focused on socializing with her friends, which is cool, whatever, but when you clearly aren't taking care of your guests and throw attitude when we ask for a drink or a refill, that's messed up. It's clear she knows the "usuals " but us being first timers to this bar was a terrible experience. Is that what is condoned here? Eff...

I asked a friend who grew up in Tacoma to recommend the best fried chicken in Tacoma and Terry’s was number one on the list. I was absolutely not disappointed. I ate a whole half chicken by myself which is definitely a first. My wife got the chicken tenders and they were clearly fresh, not some flat frozen mystery chicken out of a plastic bag in the freezer. This place has a nice quiet feel to it. Dan (the bartender) is always nice, and great to just b.s. with. Donnie (the cook) knows his way around the grill. He reminds me alot of my dad, both in the goofy look and amazing culinary skills.
