I have now been in the drive-thru line for 16 minutes. Nobody ever came to the speaker ... Where I waited 6 minutes,. so I eventually pulled up behind a car at the window. I have now been sitting behind this car for 10 minutes. HAVE YOU GUYS EVER HEARD OF PARKING PEOPLE???? HOW COULD YOU LET THIS CAR SIT AT THE DRIVE-THRU WINDOW FOR ALL THIS TIME? I'm here to pick up deliveries or I would have been long gone. This is absolutely ridiculous. Today is Sunday the 23rd and it is 8:18 p.m. so whoever was running the show then? They need to not be in charge anymore!!!!!!!! UPDATE: I ended up sitting behind the car it was at the drive-thru window for 22 minutes. That's inexcusable. When I finally got up there I asked the girl why she did not Park the person in front of me . She said "no one told me to". When she tried to give me five large flurry shakes she tried to hand them to me one by one out the window and I had to ask her for a drink holder. Where did she think I was going to put five large shakes? She was very sweet but obviously shy and not used to asking questions. She had no business at the drive-thru.. this is Management's issue. Read moreGuys, I'm going to be honest, a trip to Sonic should not take 20-30 min. Why did I just wait 28 min to get a Coke & a $1.99 wrap? It wasn't busy...🤔 This type of wait is every, single, visit & the reason I was forced to give up my Sonic drink habit when I moved here.😩 Sadly, it's not just this location, it's both TQ locations & Locust Grove also. I've had to leave all 3 at one point due to extended wait times with few to no cars in the bays. (?)
I'm posting not to be ugly, but in hopes management/ownership will see this & start monitoring the speed of service. I can assure you I speak for most when I say the food can be great, the parking spot can be comfy, the employees can be nice, but if it is taking more than 10 min to get a drink(?), we can't stop. Fast Food should be fast. ✔️
I'd hate to lose a Sonic over low sales, but there is no doubt people have stopped coming regularly due to being too busy to sit & wait. ☹️ 🙋♀️

Most of the stalls never work, and they cannot even be bothered to put up a simple sign to let you know it's down, so I get to waste my time playing the "Let's drive around until we find an open stall that is actually working" game.
I do not understand the point of having the option to order ahead if:
The service is often so slow, you are going to be waiting anyway. Regardless of if you choose drive-through or a stall.
The check-in option on the app does not even work half the time, so what is the point?
Seeing as how Sonic was just purchased for 2.3 billion back in 2018, It blows my mind that they are too bothered even to try to improve anything. These are the same old issues I have seen for years.
If Sonic cannot be bothered to improve its customer experience, then I do not know why I should be bothered to spend any more money there.
