4 weeks after car Mart responded to my review and corporate has said someone is going to contact me NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME. I have proven my sending in my cell phone records and my work phone records that Brian has lied when he has noted my account that he attempted to call me. And still no one actually contacts me. No one seems to actually care about how I was treated and done or how they have actually treated there customer of over 15 years! Have had several bad incidents since buying my car last spring. They say they are there to work with people and help them. NO they aren't we hit a financial hardship and what they did say was well we could refinance and redo your payments but we don't want to do that so the only way to keep the car was to agree and pay $800 every 2 weeks. I did this for 4 payments just like they wanted. Then I was 3 days late on a payment, account rep came to my house and for one didn't introduce herself so when my husband asked who she was she starting coming towards him yelling at him how our car payment was late about again never identified who she was or who she was with. (We still have this recording and am willing to share it with anyone). That was a horrible way to treat customers and we voluntarily gave the car back. Corporate started contacting us and wanted to fix the situation so I went and got the car back. About a month later I was 6 days late on my payment (totally my fault just forgot). They picked up my car, I wasn't mad I knew it was my fault and I called to tell them I have the payment if they will just come get me with my car I would happily pay it and any late fees. But oh no they have at this point said because of the notes on the account they want the pay off price for the car and nothing less today or they will keep it as a repo. The new manager admits he doesn't know what all has went on but he is going off notes on the account. I offered to send the video if there employee and how they acted but he refused. I offered to set up auto withdrawal so payments weren't late he refused. They don't care about there customers or actual facts. I offered actual proof he refused. Not having a car will cause me to lose my job, he doesn't care, it's 2 weeks until Christmas, he doesn't care. I have bought several cars from carmart over the last 20 years and NEVER been treated this crappy. I'm not just a mad customer trying to make them look bad. I am a disappointed customer willing to share my recordings and facts with those that are interested to see how they really treat...
Read moreThis is a get what you pay for type of place. I recommend anybody that comes here to run. I have bought multiple cars from Car-Mart over the years because I had no choice. I do now though no thanks to them. They have burnt me more than they have helped me. The management both Zade and Jean are snakes in the grass. They will smile in your face while selling you a car and promise you everything under the sun because let’s face it if they don’t sell cars they don’t have jobs. However I guarantee you the moment you run behind on a payment doesn’t matter if you’ve been a perfect payer or not if they need to meet a certain quota, you turn into just a number, sure they will “help” at first maybe but in the end they want to bonus more than anything no matter the cost. Mess up and need help and you will find out for yourself. Don’t get me started on the Quality of the vehicles. They will fix what can be seen to the eyes of the customer and after that if the vehicle messes up, it’s on the customer. If it just happens to be covered under the service contract, you better hope they didn’t go over their budget for repairs for the month or you’ll be waiting til next month so they can get that bonus at the end of the day, you are nothing to them but a paycheck. All of these five star google reviews are people who are buying their vehicle and are excited and why wouldn’t they be excited but go ask the same customers after a of couple months and I promise you, those reviews will have changed. They used to have some pretty good associates. I believe a few left because they didn’t like the way the place was being ran. Others weren’t so great some fired from stealing. However, you can’t blame the associates when the leaders all the way up to the corporate office only care about one thing. This company was founded on great values, but things change just like this company. The proof is in the stock market go look at what this company is worth.. They speak a good game, but it’s all lies. Read moreI went with my son to buy a mechanically sound car for him to get to work and back. The first week it broke down. They came with a flat bed tow truck to take it to the shop. The man in the tow truck must have thought it was a repo so he didnt even come to the door for the keys. He dragged it while it was in park and left rubber all over my drive. I heard a pop and it sounded like the car broke something while dragging it. By the time I got out with the keys he said rudely it's no problem lady ..I do it all the time. Then 2 days in shop my son had to walk 6 miles round trip to his job. When he picked up the car it did not have power steering and multi dash lights engine slip light and more issues and not starting. So back in the shop so far 5 days and counting. That's 7 days with no car and no call from them either. Horrible service. Dont go there. Now going on 8 days without use of a car that he had less than 1 month. Only driven less than 400 miles. The car was a lemon and they have him almost losing his job over this. We took pictures of the dash lights and the odometer reading showing he had use of the car for less than 400 miles before it came to undriveable. Very shady. Also the vin is not on it that we could find and we can not run a car fax on it. No call to my son. No loaner so he won't lose his job. 3 weeks and no car. His payment is 500.00 month and he has NO use to the car to even go to work to make payment....
