UPDATE.
Revised from 5 stars to 1 star. After speaking with the lady at the desk of the body shop where I took my truck for repair work to the paint damage sustained at or in transit to Tommy Nix Chevrolet and finding out how Rory spoke to her, my business with Tommy Nix dealerships has been lost. He was rude, hateful, and condescending to the lady unnecessarily. If looking for a new Chevy/GMC, I've had good experiences with Kevin Grover in Wagoner or Wilson GMC in Stillwater. I actually just purchased a new one from Wilson even though Tommy Nix is only 30 minutes down the road. I gave the positive review below initially because my salesman, Mike, had actually been good to deal with. Rory, on the other hand, not so much. When I brought the paint issues to their attention, he really pumped up his touch-up guy and made it out like he could work miracles. So I optimistically let him have at it. The truck had a small dent in the front fender with paint missing and all kinds of small chips on the back bumper. They say don't ever buy a new vehicle in the rain. I found out why. You can miss so many blemishes. Anyway, they agreed to fix it and promised they'd make it right. Well, the touch-up guy did not impress at all. They depth of the paint was not the same as the factory, and he left swirl marks with his buffer. Black truck, BTW, so every blemish stands out. They asked me to give him another shot. I agree. The result is no better. At this point, after a whole lot of arguing and back in forth that didn't quite escalate to yelling, they offer to take it into their body shop that they use. I refuse and say I want to take it to the body shop I've had good experiences with in the past because I now know what the Tommy Nix Standard of a great paint job is. I told them they'd be off the hook if my body shop did it and I still wasn't satisfied but if they had their body shop do it I promised to keep raising hell until it was right. They reluctantly agreed, likely to just be finished with me. They called my body shop for a copy of the estimate I had previously obtained from them for the repairs. They then cut me a check for that amount a few days later. I was satisfied with the result at this point and thought we were done. Left the positive review for Mike's sake. UNTIL I eventually go to the body shop to have the work done. I told the lady who I was and why I was there, and she immediately got wide-eyed and told me all about her experience with Rory. Apparently, when he called her to discuss the estimate, this is when he got ignorant with her. He tried hard to negotiate a lower price with her. When she refused, he accused her of being in cahoots with me just trying to take him for more money while pointing out how long he had been in this business and he "knows how this works". So when I found that out, I felt really bad for her. I apologized to her for his behavior and told her I had no idea this had happened. And that was when I knew I was finished with that dealership for good.
I purchased a new vehicle here. It had some cosmetic damage to the exterior that I did not notice until after the purchase, and I was already home. Although they technically didn't have to help me out with it since it was mine now, they ended up doing what it took to make things right. Mike Moore and Rory Robertson went above and beyond, and I would not hesitate to use them for my...
Read moreEverything thing was good until I had to use the extended warranty my wife and I purchased with our 2019 chevy blazer rs, asked for and was specifically told our warranty be good for 7 yrs 70000 miles, transmission went out and extended warranty company Horizon, is only paying so much on labor, I'm out of pocket about 2300.00 dollars, which is part of labor cost that extended warranty will not cover, labor cost have went up and I have to pay the difference, maybe my fault maybe not, guess it's in the fine print somewhere, that they don't cover labor price increases, I thought and was told it would be covered, I yes prices will change over time but thought that was the whole thing about buying an extended warranty, so I'm recommending people to go somewhere else to buy a vehicle and be sure about your extended warranty if you purchase one, next warranty i buy may be worth it to have a lawyer read, don't take the...
Read moreMy wife and I had very specific needs for a vehicle. I needed something to handle a heavy duty mobility scooter and she needed something easy to get in and out of due to bad hips. We figured a 1500 truck or larger SUV would work. We went to Tommy Nix Chevrolet and explained our needs. Our salesman, Justin Smith, worked dilligently with us for 2 days to find a vehicle that would meet our needs. Fortunately, we were able to settle on the Chevrolet Traverse Premier FWD. It has the tongue weight to handle the scooter and it's easy for my wife to get in and out of. From sales to finance to service the staff at Tommy Nix Chevrolet worked to make this car buying experience a memorable one. I highly recommend them for your...
