Shopping was great, sales person wasn't pushy, even offered to locate same type of vehicle with less bells and whistles (didn't really need all that). They found one in a different color but we decided not to go with that color. Couldn't locate a cajun red with cloth seats that anyone would give up. On Saturday, I was texted a lower price for the one at the dealership, agreed to go to dealership to purchase and talk about trade in. When we got there, we were told that someone else had agreed to a price too, which irritated us. We were satisfied with the trade in price. We were there for about 3 hours before we were able to start paperwork. Unable to take the vehicle that day, had to take the buyers agreement to the the bank on Monday. Monday afternoon, we took the bank draft to the dealership & got the vehicle. On Wednesday, I received a call from the Sales Manager stating there was a problem. The dealership failed to put the pay off amount of the trade in on the buyers agreement, essentially shorting the dealership $1700. I go back to the bank and the loan officer called the sales manager. She basically told him it was his mistake and as far as the bank was concerned it was a done deal because they accepted the bank draft and left the title with the bank. The sales manager raised his voice asking her "haven't you ever made a mistake?". In my opinion he was rude and unprofessional. Before I even got back to my office he text me a picture of the paper I signed stating they would take the $1700 out of the trade in price, asking "don't you remember this?". I replied yes I did and I would do the right thing and bring in the money to the dealership. All I received was "thank you". Took the money in on Friday, luckily that sales manager...
Read moreMUST READ So lengthy post but worth it before you buy! I have attempted to buy from Tommy Nix in Tahlequah, OK, three different times. During Covid they marked up trucks $5,000 over MSRP, after Covid as of this post $3,000 over. They STILL claim “we won’t be under sold.” And as far as I know after calling at least 30 dealers in Oklahoma they are the only one doing so. We the consumers should NOT have to pay more just because the manufacturer can’t keep up, and give the dealer a chance to bend us over and take all they can. During the three I have tried to buy from Nix I have bought four from Don Vance in Marshfield, MO for net price. NOT MSRP, NET, what it cost the dealer. 1- Laramie 3/4 ton gas 1- Longhorn 3/4 ton gas 1- Big Horn 1 ton diesel 1- Tradesman 3/4 ton diesel And saved 10’s of thousands of dollars. I will never step foot in the Chevy or Dodge dealer in Tahlequah again. I would love to shop local but when you are talking about saving at least $10,000 per truck, I’m going to Don Vance. This is no way to be slanderous or hurt Mr. Nix’s feeling. I understand that someone will and have bought there before, during, and after covid. I’m just one man and I don’t matter to them, however they have missed out on selling four trucks at this point and will continue to loose more sales. So if you need or want a new truck, car, or suv. Spend some time online build what you want and save thousands with Don Vance Chrysler in...
Read moreWORST customer SERVICE ever received AVOID at all cost. Zero stars. Horrible behavior from the service writer/advisor at Tommy Nix auto, stay away from there unless you like getting ripped off. They took advance of a my dad a Vietnam veteran. The more the service writer can rip off the customers the more he and the dealership made. Took our 2015 Denali gmc that has car shield coverage which is a blessing to have, in to get A/C fixed on 10/4/24. Only was suppose to pay $100 deductible. My dad was called they said they changed thermostat but ac still didn’t work would be 3k to fix it and his car shield wouldn’t pay for entire service, apparently they ADDED on unnecessarily services, and said we would have out of pocket to pay. We called car shield and did a 3 way call with the “service writer/advisor” , the conversation wasn’t getting anywhere, the rep at car shield ended call with him because she caught him not telling the truth and seemed he was trying to take advantage. We were told it showed to be no out of pocket charge, car shield was paying for entire submitted amount. Long story short, we couldn’t pick up vehicle until we paid way more than our deductible on 10/16/24. I was looking at buying a car from there, but not now, not ever. Shame on this company for being dishonest and taking advantage of people hate for this to...
