Poppy's Frozen Yogurt & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Tahoe City

Poppy is the nicest man and the people working here are so sweet, helpful and always willing to customize your order. This is my favorite frozen yogurt place in Tahoe ever! While their ice cream and yogurt are all awesome, their acai bowls are what I usually get. They are always blended perfectly and loaded with lots of fruit, granola and honey. I usually add coconut flakes to mine! My sister usually gets extra granola, and the granola is really tasty :) Oh yeah, and the ice cream scoops are huge...

The ice cream is good, but the prices aren't listed on their menu at the counter. Maybe it's just me, but I never purchase anything blindly without knowing the price. And I shouldn't have to ask, it slows down the entire process as I now have to make decisions at the counter instead of ahead of time while waiting in line. Price transparency, please. It’s a cute ice cream shop with outdoor seating. We ordered some ice cream and a pumpkin spice latte. It was a little too sweet for me but my group liked their ice cream. The ladies working there had wonderful customer service.
