Safe to say I will never go back! The food is great, but the customer service is horrible. This is the second bad experience. Waited 30 mins to order my food, just to heard the cashier say, I have to fix their big order first. It seems this place is just for friends and family!

My first issue is that you are inconsistence and not very well organized. Try putting up signs to let the customers know which window is for orders and which one is for pay and pick-up. There were 2 customers ahead of me, but were standing in the pay and pick-up line. They were able to put their orders in and pick it up before the large order. While the customers ordering the large order was in the store before we all order. After waiting 20 mins to place my order I was still unable to place my order. The cashier advised me that she had to "fix the large order", keep in mind the order was a pick-up order for later. It is a 50/50 chance you will have the items that are on your menu. Try ordering a larger amount food or preparing the enough food, so you will have the items on your menu. Try hiring more staff so the cashier is not running double duty. Also, up until now I have been able to order a fried dumpling with my meal. Now, it is considered a side, but your menu states, $.81 for a dumpling. The person taking the order could not answer any questions, all she can do is refer you to the other cashier. And if she is new, she needs more training and do not need to be left alone. Should I start with my second issue? Thanks for your reply and be blessed! Oh yeah I didnt feel like a friend at alI, more like a...

No menus, no prices listed on the tacky handwritten whiteboard menu. Lunch portion was $15!!!! (no drink) for oxtails rice and cabbage. Tails were cooked ok, but ruined with a gross sugary gravy sauce that smothered everything. All food is served in to-go Styrofoam containers and plastic forks and wrapped up plastic bags weather you are eating in or not. Gravy was leaking all in the bag and table. I threw most of my food in the trash.

Service was poor, lady taking my order would not speak to me nor answer my questions about cost, another lady had to step over and answer for her, I wasn’t offered a drink and no drinks listing was to be seen. I order water but never received a drink, cash register is behind a bullet proof glass looking wall… No waitress to check on you at your table. Only a few people were here and knew what to do because they had been here before. Don’t come here alone if you are not familiar with the food, ordering process and procedure. I should have known better since the parking lot is always empty.

Read the other bad reviews, they all say the same thing. Picture is not mine but its what my food looked like for $15. I lived in South Florida and know what good Caribbean food taste and looks like This was disrespectful. Wont be back.

This is the Tallahassee Apalachee Parkway location I visited. Photos on Google represent another...

#1, I'm a Jamaican Food fan. I worked in one when I was younger. This place is very similar. Curry Chicken was 👍, so was the Jerk Chicken (I like mine with a touch more kick, however nothing against their way, Very tasty) I tried yellow rice & rice and peas. Yellow rice had plenty of Curry Chicken gravy and was on point. The mixed vegetables & Stew cabbage were both good, but had probably been made an hour or so before my order. My dad had the oxtails (fyi- oxtails are a more expensive item) and enjoyed them..They had a brown gravy. The beef patty was good, I think they use Tower Isles Jamaican Beef patties? Which are excellent and used at most every Jamaican restaurant. Covid seems to have been tough on the place, but business was fine when I was there, 6pm. Service was solid, it's not like I asked any questions. Kola Champagne is my "go to" drink with Jamaican food, they seemed to have a good mix of Jamaican Kolas...

Do yourself a favor go here and get a LOT of good food at reasonable to great prices. 30$+.......for 2 large meals, 2 soda, & a beef patty.

From TX, I was just passing through... I was surprised so many Jamaican spots in town, but only this and 1 other were...

I wanted to see what the people was talking about, but I disagree with the food. This isn’t authentic at all. I’m a Jamaican and I’m sorry but I ate this food and was extremely disappointed 😔 I wouldn’t return because I ordered a simple dish and was disappointed! The rice don’t even have the authentic culture flavor. I also asked for oxtail gravy and the worker hesitated and then said yes, I got my food and tasted stew gravy not oxtail unless they use sugar in both their gravy and there’s no difference. The Mac and cheese reminded me of Texas toast garlic bread. Heavy on the garlic and wasn’t that flavorful, to each there own. Either way, this wasn’t it for me, highly disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend, but everyone like what they like. If you aren’t really familiar with the authentic flavor then you may be ok with this place.

Today I tried G & G Caribbean Restaurant—and wow, what an experience! I’d been on the hunt for a good Jamaican spot, and I’m so glad I decided to check this place out. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much—this is Tallahassee, after all—but let me tell you, I was blown away! The flavors were out of this world. The brown stew chicken was absolute perfection—I could seriously drink the gravy, it was that good. And the jerk turkey? It left my entire family speechless. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We are 100% going back. If you’re thinking about trying this place, take this as your sign: GO! You won’t regret it!
