Ordered Paneer Tikka via Uber Eats on Sept 21, 2024 and Oct 16, 2024, Order was cancelled in seconds after the order was placed on Uber Eats claiming that it is 'SOLD".
Essence of India either does not have sufficient resources to fulfill customers needs and/or they very biased in customer selection and do not wish to provide their services to choosy customers. This is definitely not Customer Service and this is not the way a Service and Hospitality Industry has to work. Extremely poor and disgusting !!
Response to Essence of India :: Mr. Anonymous of Essence of India (do you have a name). Thanks for your update. As per Cyber Law; is it unlawful to have two email ids?? Mr. Anonymous, please remembers you are in the SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY AND YOUR RESPONSE IS SUPER RUDE. You should be apologetic in a sober and soft manner, your language is very rude and this clearly reflects the service you give.
As far as my review goes; it is absolutely authentic ang genuine. What I have voiced out is absolutely authentic. I had Ordered Paneer Tikka via Uber Eats on Sept 21, 2024 vide Order No. #8D48C and Oct 16, 2024 vide Order No. #D5F9D Order was cancelled in seconds after the order was placed on Uber Eats claiming that it is 'SOLD". If this feedback is incorrect or fake; you can file a law suit against me. Uber Eats as a company can also track the Order Numbers and provide feedback that you had cancelled the order.
Mr. Anonymous, my objective here is to ensure people and their health is safe. The Quailty standards that you practice in your Restaurant (Oral & Written Communication) is super rude that reflects as your response. (Food Practices) is unethical and much below standards. If people read my review and refrain from coming to your Restaurant and maintain their health; I have achieved my goal which is...
Read moreThere must be an abundance of paid reviews. The food was microwaved from frozen. The service was very slow. The place was empty. People I've asked from the area agree that it's bad. There's no way that this restaurant is the most reviewed Indian restaurant in town with consistent 5-star reviews coming in every few days.
EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER: The beef that was served to me was very tough and the warmth was inconsistent. Either it was microwaved from frozen or the cook is so incredibly incompetent that he/she managed to cook fresh food to taste as if it were microwaved.
It is absolutely fair for me to doubt the other "customers" that have reviews on here. When I dined in, there were two other parties that came in throughout the service. And the duration of that service was about an hour due to the non-responsive wait staff. The sheer number of reviews posted do not coincide with my experience. A lot of the positive reviews are very generic and do not pertain to anything specific to this restaurant. Many of the accounts that post the positive reviews have suspicious review history.
I'm certainly not going to reach out to your establishment rather than provide an honest review publicly. At least one of your reviews should be genuine. Even if I save one soul from being subject your overpriced gruel, I will have done a great service to the community of Tallahassee.
For a good Indian place, I recommend Persis Indian Grill. For this plaza, I recommend Sahara Cafe (Mediterranean). But do...
Read moreThere is literally nothing negative to say about this restaurant! Our experience was beyond amazing for starters my boyfriend found this place do to TikTok and boy were we surprised who knew a hidden gem like this was in our own backyard! Our waitress (Sheetal sorry if I missed spelled your name) was the star of the night! She was very polite, patient, and caring!!! Sometimes a waitress can make or break your entire experience but this wasn’t the case she’s PERFECT! We watched in amazement as other customers received their dishes and could only hope we were next! Then it happened it was our turn. Our food came out sizzling hot, as steam filled the air around us as she place our dishes down gently in front of us, we began to eat with our eyes as we examined every dish at that moment all 5 senses was in full force! We were so excited we dug in without saying Grace! Our first bite of Indian food was delicious which made us yearn for more with each bite it gave us something different and at that moment we knew we would most definitely be a returning customer! The famous butter chicken and chicken tikkas was so satisfying along side the garlic cheese naan OMG! I could continue talking about this place but I won’t! All I can say is go see for yourself and when you do please leave a good tip because the atmosphere, and food is...
