Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Tallahassee

Currently leaving the restaurant “Chicken Salad Chick.” I would just like to start of by saying I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING! There’s a Caucasian woman here with gray hair that wears a pixie cut & black dress who seems to not have wanted to greet my mother & I, or even speak to us at all. We walked in & she looked right at us & said NOTHING. These white women walked in through the side door & apparently she knew one of them & she lit up & she more than gave her a positive experience while the other lady cut in front of us & received help from a brown employee. No one spoke to us until a younger woman came & asked if anyone had helped us. I told her no & that it seemed the lady didn’t even want to greet us like she did the other ladies (everyone dining was white.) I left because they didn’t even have tuna salad. But while walking out the lady with the pixie cut & black dress MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME & quickly looked away. Moral of the story I will never come back here & I do not recommend it! Fellow people of color definitely avoid the place, the atmosphere & aesthetic of the place was...

Staff was very friendly and wonderful. I just thought it was a little overpriced for what you get and the chicken salad had whole grapes in it as well as not having any seasoning. The grape salad sounded great but didnt really taste well when I tried to eat it.

Edit for owner comments: the grapes were most of the chicken salad scoop- they should be cut up to not get a whole mouth of just grape when all flavors are supposed to meld together. As well as I feel like I didnt get my money's worth of food. The chicken salad might have had secret spices from the company, but I unfortunately didnt taste any of them or any salt or pepper, which had to be added for me to actually eat it. And the grape salad I tried was bad because of the cream cheese mixture itself that tasted sour and wasnt very sweet. And yes I tried everything together and the cream cheese mixture seperate. Please dont assume your customers dont know what they are talking about, you never know someone's background and experience, and I will not be back to try anymore...

Normally service and food great at CSC. Yesterday was a bad exception. Because of Covid 19 precautions, order was placed from their app and for orders the app is poorly set up. I prepared my order, saw the pickup time was later than I needed, I changed it to the time I needed, drove to pick it up, found it wouldn't be ready til the time the app had put in and not the time I switched it to. No place on the order page did it verify all details on the order. So I had to wait 20 mins in the car. Also the ap asks that you call when you arrive but doesn't give the number to call. So I had to Google the number. It's great food, nice staffing (sorry, I was obnoxiously an angry upset customer ... not their fault the app is a mess), but the app is definitely NOT up to the task. And staff person said it's in the email ... and it was ... who uses EMAIL in this day & age. The app should perhaps say "check your email" because NO business I order from has...
