I ordered from door dash for pickup and when I went to pickup my order it wasn’t ready; so I waited patiently at first. Some time later when I inquired about the status I was told by staff that it’d been picked up already. When I showed staff proof it said the order was pending and that I’d been in the building waiting for my own order and wasn’t a door dash driver no one seemed to know what was going on. The manager on duty 10/28/22 around 8/9p wouldn’t acknowledge me at all even when I offered to show her not only door dash proof but my own personal bank statement as proof showing I had a pending charge from door dash; because I felt at that point it was being insinuated I was there to steal my meal. I offered several times both forms of proof to staff as the manager wouldn’t greet or acknowledge me; and was ignored by the manager. She wouldn’t address me at all. Staff began to treat me like I had a highly communicable disease at this point and avoided me. I walked in at 8:05 and out near 9p; for a single salad I’d ordered around 7:30p. It wasn’t the wait that upset me (I have a customer service element to my job and get even small things make big ripples given the right elements) it was the way the manager wouldn’t even acknowledge me on a human level until right before I left after much much grief around 9p. After noticeably acting annoyed about making my order at that; she apologized to the wrong customer who was just as confused as I was as, as to why she was addressing her about this issue. I’d been there at least 30 minutes at this point and that customer only shared a similar “skin complexion” as me. Not similar features, hairstyle/color or clothing . If she’d bothered to acknowledge me at all in the near hour entirety I’d been waiting she’d have known that. I did accept her apology in the end because my parents raised a decent human being; that experience just isn’t sitting right with me in my spirit however. I used to love Jason’s deli they had great food; but I’ll never go again no matter how good the food was. My experience was humiliating and publicly at that and at no error of my own. If i had behaved that way at my job I’d have been reprimanded or fired; probably fired. I hope the company does some kind of internal investigation because this seems, at least to me; to be a big problem....
Read moreGood afternoon, I placed a order online on May 23rd at 11 am to be picked up by 11:25. After sitting in the drive thru for 20 minutes waiting for my order, I waved to get the clerks attention and was ignored. He walked away and when he came back I waved again trying to get his attention to ask how much longer because I had to get back to work and the time was now 11:55. The young man swung the window open and asked in the most disrespectful way, and asked what do you want and why am i waving at him when he is trying to take orders? I told him I'm trying to see how much longer and to get my order. Well he really got disrespectful and started screaming at me through the drive thru window. I parked, went in and asked for a manager. The manager did reach back and get my order that had been sitting there already bagged up. I did tell the manager about the exchange and other customers inside the store did witness the disrespect. The manager then took the my receipt and said that he would take care of my order, but that never happened. I am very upset to say the least and think he should not be helping customers or be in customer service with that type of attitude. I emailed this on the same day and never got any response whats so ever from anyone. Sad part is I was recommending you to a co-worker and was buying her lunch so that she could try the food. Read moreAnother UPDATE Baked potato with cheese & meat. Very big! Asked for extra butter but didn't know they would charge you $.99 The bo of brocolli cheese was outstanding. Only problem is that the temperature inside restaurant was 64.4° and it made the hot food cool quickly. Management needs to monitor the air temperature better. I gave the lowest rating because I don't like hot food cold. They did reheat the meat because it was barely warm and after reheating it was only 137°.
I lowered the rating because they are beginning to follow McDonalds excuse that the soft serve ice cream machine is down for service. Last 2 times I visited the machine was down. Least they could do is offer a brownie or cookie when the machine is not working. I'm sure the menu prices reflect the cost of guests taking advantage of having ice cream. Almost forgot, the beverage station with sodas and tea was out of order. You had to go to the cashier for refills.
California turkey sandwich with fresh fruit. Also had a tuna on rye sandwich. The tuna comes with melted cheese and tomato. Super fresh rye bread. Don't forget the chocolate or vanilla soft serve ice cream. Self serve cup or cone.
